The National Intelligence Organization (MIT) neutralized the so-called Ayn Isa state officer of the terrorist organization PKK / YPG, Iraqi national Kays Berho Sulayva, code-named "Azad", in an operation in Syria.

Operations are rarely conducted during Winter.

Northern Iraq is hostile place in Winter thus the gains that were made in between April and September are being fortified and roads are being implemented to guarantee logistic flow.

I am 90% that there isn't a operation looming in IRAQ. However there could be revenge strike for Taksim Attack.

As for Syria it is impossible as well since a military Operation would require heavy Equipment being carried to the border which would be all over Social Media.

I am quite certain that the "Military Action" will be heavy airstrikes with some footage being released to media channels.

Actually I don't think there needs to be such heavy transports because most of our forces in Syria is already equipped (also there were some transports in the summer if i remember correctly). Did we pullback our forces from the previous operations ? I don't think we pulled back our forces from there, maybe they'll reinforce with some new equipment but i think our power in Syria is already enough. Especially if you consider the fact that we mostly use FSA as the main infantry force (i hope they are trained well this time round), the chances of a new operation seems highly likely as we have seen some remarks from officials recently.
Most likely there will be a series of airstrikes in preparation of a bigger operation in Syria and we'll also continue as usual in Northern Iraq.

What you wrote is common sense and generally true but TAF executed many winter operations in the past. I don't completely rule out a winter operation especially if its aim is not to take ground but to raid certain terrorist camps. While fortifying the Zap area with permanent forward bases and outposts Gara area which is in front of the Zap area can be raided.

TAF amassed quite a bit of military hardware earlier this year while there were talks about an operation in Syria. They are still there and never returned back. Erdogan earlier this year said as soon as our preparations are done we will launch an operation. To me, it feels like we are getting ready for an operation and looking for the right time to launch a new op.

In the past most terrorists would go home or downtown instead of staying in the mountains. If TAF have mini camera drones to check caves then I guess cleaning them out could be an option. But it would cost more during winter.

I don't think we will see winter operations in the north of Iraq. As you said the activities will be more connected to consolidation of control over the captured areas.

One of the reason for high numbers of casualties in the Claw-Lock operation is because of the rush and the big objectives that were given to our forces. Usually the objectives set within the Claw-Lock operations had to be completed not in one but in 2-3 phases. The terrain is very hard and the preparations of the terrorists for this moment was going for more than 30 years. Even the terrorists didn't believe we will go for it so soon.

The operation will be finished before the winter and capacity will be freed for operation in Syria. Winter operation in Syria is not a problem for our forces and I think the government will want to make it happen before the 2023 elections.
