Lets see. While MAM-L are still good and useful, there are instances where the ammunition misses by a centimeter and the effect on target is greatly reduced. For some reason our drone operators are often reluctant on a double tap and in result the targeted HVT is getting away with injuries. If they manage to keep the price low and have a decent production rate then I think it is time for TSK and MIT to think about it.

Our first complete look at Karaok launcher and its CLU. Wish the big IR sensor was open as well. Wonder if this is the end design for CLU or if we'll see some ergonomics improvements.

MKE Develops Extended-Range 122 mm Artillery Rocket | TURDEF

During SAHA EXPO 2024, MKE displayed a mock-up of 122 mm guided artillery rocket fitted with deployable wings for longer ranges.

MKE has developed a new version of 122mm artillery rockets with deployable wings which extends the rocket’s 40km maximum range to 67.5km level. That is similar range of trg230.
This opens the door to apply same technology to the 230 and 300mm artillery rockets with much extended ranges.
Apparently ROK’s GGAM utilises a similar technology for the 155mm artillery rounds to increase their range.

Fibre optics? What is this the 80s? I mean we probably have some TOWs and Milans left in our inventory but other than that we have Karaok for short range, Omtas for mid range and Umtas for long range. None of them use fibre optics, neither do any other modern ATGM.

I think SACLOS ATGMs like wire guided TOW can still have a place in the modern jammer/dazzler heavy battlefield. But, it presents too much of a threat to the operator. It can still work great in near peer conflict, and it's cheaper to build too.

With fiber optics, operators receive actual real-time visual feedback, enabling last-second adjustments to the missile's trajectory and improving accuracy. In contrast, RF signals are prone to interference and jamming. Additionally, RF signals are more easily detectable, allowing enemies to identify the source and potentially trace it back to the launch point. (collected)
