I hope its not Gökhan with name change because the war doctrine is changing and we need long range air -air missile 300+ km .
Someone at IDEF should ask what happened with Gökhan , same with CENK its tayfun block 4 CENK or not ? ?
A missile 10 meter 938mm diameter can easy reach 1400km but i would like to make it reach 500km and all space leave to warhead like 5 ton bomb

We were waiting for a liquid/gel fuelled ramjet a2a missile. They most likely gave us a solid fuelled ramjet that is small enough to fit in to internal bays of KAAN and even KE.

Gökbora is probably a solid fuel Ramjet, while Gökhan is gel based. The range of the Gökbora is announced as 100 nautical miles (185km).

It is too small to have a fuel tank, compared to the given approximate length of 5m of liquid fuelled Gökhan. It has to be solid fuelled.

This is similar to Meteor. Meteor is 3.9 metres.
The important points are:
When will it be ready? At what stage of it’s development is it?

Gökhan was too long and too heavy for an a2a missile that was supposed to fit on internal bays of KAAN or KE.
They can carry on developing it as an AShM now.

I was also considering is Tayfun block 4 was just name change for Cenk for standardization but the missile is different from the Cenk we saw in videos which has a distinct nose. I wonder if Gökbora replaces Gökhan project or complements it but it would be nice if we have both, Gökbora for IWB and Gökhan for deterring other 4th gen or large assets like awacs, somewhat similar to AIM 174. Also nice that it is confirmed to fit KE IWB. Hope all A2A missiles get aesa seeker

IMHO propulsion part is ready( solid fuel ramjet Akbaba is in tests and trials for a while now). AESA seeker will probably be delivered soon. I expect advanced tests in 2026 similar to Gökhan. Both of them will probably have a similar AESA seeker from Aselsan.

Gökhan will definitely fit inside the belly internal bays of KAAN. Those bays are monstrous. IMHO at this point, 4x Gökhan inside mid internal bays and 2x Gökbora inside side internal bays are guaranteed.

It's not, GÖKHAN is a project of Tübitak SAGE.

Its main weapon of all drones of Turkiye like tb2 , anka and others and took part in all wars in suria , armenia , libya , ukraine , africa and all those countries that buy pur drones will aslo buy MAM L perhaps aslo MAM T and C.
So no wonder we are producing so much smart bombs

Tayfun block 2 and 3 are classified and won't be announced or unveiled. The sources I reached say they are in the inventory. Cenk will also have blocks and it is expected to be unveiled in the next IDEF and similar to Tayfun, some blocks and some product data will stay classified. Tayfun block 4 will enter the inventory by the end of 2025.

Yes, I think so, but it depends on the warhead. Roketsan might have gone for a bigger 1000 or 1500kg warhead we don't know the details.

Tayfun block 4 will enter the inventory by the end of this year.

I want to add this, a final firing test will be done this year before the system enters the inventory.

i would say 1200- 1600 km but depends aslo what type and size of warhead it has . I wonder more about the carry lunch vihacle , it will look like df 16 ones or what ? It will be national or foreight 8 x 8 , 6 x 6 ??

I was using Pershing-2 as it has very similar weight and dimensions as a reference but yeah payload is definitely going to be a big factor.

Forgot it’s a two stage as well but theoretically a MARV wouldn’t be impossible with the Tayfun.

I'm reminded of the scramjet article in Roketsan magazine. Therefore, we may have developed a hypersonic glide vehicle capable of reaching altitude with a ballistic missile. Claiming to be a scramjet requires that the average cruise speed be hypersonic once the engine is running. Indeed, when the Tayfun Block-4 was mentioned, it was assumed that the missile would be hypersonic. Normally, such a definition isn't used for ballistic missiles based on maximum cruise speed. Therefore, I hope we develop an HGV and add it to the inventory.
