We all know the difficulties and downsides of liquid fuelled missiles. Shelf-life, preparation before launching, stocking of missile are not as easily tackled as solid fuelled missiles.
Brahmos on the other hand is a liquid fuelled Ramjet engined missile with a solid fuelled discardable booster stage.
Yet Meteor has an integrated solid fuelled nozzle-less booster stage which helps missile reach the required initial speed for solid fuelled Ramjet to kick in.
I wonder if Tubitak Sage was already developing a solid fuelled Ramjet in secrecy and Hulusi Akar let the cat out?
Let us enjoy the news little bit:)
Hell how many details in defense industry, real rocket science.
Anyway first step is more precious than following ones.

AFAIK Okumus stated that they were not working on a solid-fuel ramjet which indicated that there was no ramjet air-to-ar missile in the works. It seems that things have changed or Tubitak is going to use liquid fuel ramjet for the Gokhan

Where did the information " Gökhan is liquid fueled" come? Is it accurate info?

MR Okumuş of Tubitak started it. He mentioned liquid fuelled ramjet trials. Never mentioned solid fuelled ramjet in his interviews. So everyone is speculating that this Gökhan could be liquid fuelled.

From just over a year ago: @UkroTurk 🚬 @Yasar

"It was underlined that a ramjet-powered missile is not expected in the short term, while a Meteor-like system would be possible in a 10-year period. There are also plans for solid fuel ramjet, but in the first place, the process is progressing for the development of liquid fuel ramjet engine."

This is why I drew the conclusion that the Gokhan will be liquid fueled, but it seems Tubitak is faster than expected.

Of course they are faster than expected, what else?🍄🍄🍄🍄🍄🍄🍄🍄

Is there any distinction such as; solid fuel fits better for the air force while liquid fuel is fitting better for the land/sea uses?

I feel like;
it would be easier to start a liquid fueled ramjet missile at lower speeds, so makes more sense to be used on nearly-stationary platforms
While solid fuel is hard to start thus better to be launched from fast-moving platform-jet.

What fuel does ramjet use?

Look what Jews found

"THE PERFORMANCE OF A BORON-LOADED
GEL-FUEL RAMJET"
The prediction of the combustion temperature and products was performed us-ng the NASA Gordon and McBride code, CEA [9].
Two mixtures were examined. The first mixture served as a reference and consisted of a 100% Jet-A fuel
mixed with an organic gellant. The second mixture was composed by 60% Jet-A fuel mixed with the gellant and 40% boron.

Imo American's wont let Turkey integrate their A2A missiles for export on Qatari jets for example but I could be wrong.

This is why Turkey has been developing Hürjet, TfX and MIUS, TAI TISU aircrafts. Markets dominated by US products and fed up with US ITAR policies and congressional approval mechanism will be reached with these products.

EU also ITAR-freeing their platforms and systems. They wanted to export but had trouble because of US export licenses. Market is going to get a lot more competitive. US had a monopoly for a long time.

I mean trying to integrate them on existing aircraft will be in my opinion very unlikely.

Speaking of integrating our missile to western aircraft for export. They would either not allow it or want stupid amount of money to allow integration.

In the short term, Göktuğ missiles can grab market share in light attack-fighters. As integration is a lot more relaxed on those platforms. We can technically integrate Göktuğ to Russian aircraft without any Russian involvement like Derby and Astra. Maybe experiment with Ukraine or Azerbaijan on Mig 29s.

My personal answer to what Akdoğan and Gökhan might look like. I kinda expect Akdoğan to draw inspiration from SACM or Peregrine so I made a ressembling wing layout. For Gökhan, I made the intakes like that with the consideration of its possible integration into TF-X's or MIUS's internal weapon bays so that the total cross section doesnt increase much.
