An image was published earlier, has shown the progress. I am hopeful that it can be launched soon and they can start fitting.
The construction at main deck level was completed, i am sure the supper structure is easier to construct and build (except the mast)

The green ones are land based SOM or Gezgin's launchers. İf Hakan Kılıç hadn't said , i would be sure % 100. Anyway those can't be Hisar pods.

:sick::sick::sick::sick:
Edit: i regret trusting ASELSAN!
Gratefully it was just technological demonstrator.

Umtas+Cirit version maybe cant be dangerous for bigger ships but this version ;

with t-300 mashm it would be very dangerous.

Just because it's very small carbon fiber, hard to detect and can be looking civil fishing boat on radar.

We can store this ships the armoured decks of anadolu and send him water from dry dock , İf we could make a vtol uavs or regular ucavs for anadolu it could be great naval drone mothership.

This little boy can help us for searching, detecting and targeting.

He have vtol capability, cheap and can land easily from any ship , He have 150 km communication range 12 hour endurance and they have a electric engines. and also if we use ulaqs asuw+ radio relay we can extend his range extra 80-100 km I think.

So we can use our ships in the open water without any gps activity from 250 km.

Anybody knows what are the tubes of the EW & ISR version of Ulaq? It doesn't look like any kind of decoy to me. It looks like Alpagu tubes.
It looks like Alpagu, i hope it is block II or III since 5-10 km range isn't enough for seas, should be at least 100km+ for effective ISR.

Some twitter people is speaking about embargo on Mk41 to be delivered for I-Class, there is nothing such as of now.
Officials ,a month or so ago, have told about there wasn't any embargoes on naval programs (amid claims of some twitter accounts hinting embargoes on submarine and surface vessel programs)
Also, i believe SSB would have spoken about that, the way they have hinted the embargoes on critical parts of missiles.
Those people should stop spreading rumors to look active,and look like insiders.

I think the first I-class FFG wil use mk41 VLS and the following ones Turkish VLS. The next 4 years are going to be the most crucial years in Turkish defense industry with the following 5 years the second most crucial ones. A lot of bottlenecks need to be broken but from what I've seen, they will pull it off.

the following ones Turkish VLS
Everyone is speaking about that, but it is still not assured that G40 will be ready anytime soon.
Nothing is bad about Mk41 + ESSM, we need MIDAS and Turkish AA missiles to fill the gap for what wasn't sold.
3 Ships are planned to be constructed by private shipyards and by a single tender, MIDAS + G40 should be ready before RfP but it doesnt seem possible.

President of Defence Industries Prof. Dr. Ismail Demir answered questions of Turkey's leading defence magazines via domestic video conferencing system. Answering the questions of C4Defence, Demir made important statements about the I-class frigate and naval projects.

The first ship of the class, TCG Istanbul is under construction. It is on the agenda that domestic weapons are preferred for next three other platforms. Stating that the ship-based missile work at various ranges continues. Prof. Dr. Demir explained that the work for the Atmaca and Gezgin missiles continue and that the engine process is about to result in a positive. It was underlined that studies are currently underway for anti-ship and naval cruise missiles with longer range and larger warheads and also air defence missiles. Dr. Demir told "Process will start with the integration of a foreign vertical launch system (VLS) at first then the domestic VLS was also on the agenda in the following period for TF-2000s." Similarly, it was stated that the choice of torpedoes from domestic sources was also on the agenda.

MK41 agreement for the first I-Class frigate was signed but not for the others. Considering 4 ships will enter service every year starting 2023. MK41 order for the other 3 ships has to be signed sooner or later. MİDAS have been in development for some time now.
