MKE 20 mm close-in weapon system.

The system, which can fire 4,000 rounds per minute and has 6 rotating barrels, will serve as air defense system against anti-ship missiles, cruise missiles, helicopters, UAVs and aircrafts.

'Domestic and national' brrrrrrrt.
A version with optics, and a version with built-in radars according to what i see

Why did they remove the cannons supporting cage, now it went from Phanlanx 1B to a 1A.

Also, they should find a way to develop radar so it can support Aselsan or Roketsan's Naval point defence systems - Like SeaRam.

Is it possible to add 16 more VLS to the deck? Seems like its some more space there. 32 VLS, including 16 atmaca anti-ship missiles would make it in its own class of frigates under 5 000 displacements.
It doesn't need 16 more VLS, if we look at the bay where AShM are stored, 16 more oblique canisters may be placed there if found necessary. But carrying 32 missiles in an open area vulnerable to attacks may not be the good the good idea, however some ships carry AShM in facing configurations.

So in addition to existing 16, either of these may be carried;

24 Cakir missile (assuming 6 missile per spot)

16 Kara Land attack cruise missile

16 Atmaca IIR

24 TRLG-230

Decent amount of kamikaze - loitering munitions from oblique launchers, assuming 16 Kargi's at least.

Also the VLS is a full length version thus Gezgin may be carried in 8, while remaining 8 being spared for quadpacked AD.

Or Gezgin may occupy two facing quad spots and 8 Gezgin + 8 Atmaca might be carried in the AShM bay.

Hisar-O+ IIR has a range of 35+km. Hisar-Rf has even longer range. Hisar-U (Siper Block-0) - (75km) most likely used as a technological step to reach the actual target (Siper Block-1) and Siper block-1 destroyed high speed target drone at a range around 95km in trials. The final Siper block-1 which is going to be delivered to Turkish Army in 2023 will have a range of 100km. Siper Block-2 will have a range of 150km (2024)

In this context, I think that Siper variant that Indonesia purchased will be Siper Block-1.

Honestly i was assuming that Siper - Block 0 will be 100 km missile while Block 1 will be 150 and Block 2 is BMD capable block 2. The naming started to be confusing with renaming Hisar-U as Siper and shifting it into Siper battery from Hisar's.

OPV's underwater noise, propeller cavitaiton and hull pressure scale model tests were conducted in ITU-KAT cavitation tunnel.

The same tests and more will be conducted for TF-2000 soon.
Milgem based asfat OPV wil have electric motors, with aim of reducing propeller noise it will be very silent platform for submarine to attack subs with the aim of multistatik sonar system of Hızır/LFS of other OPVs.Two of OPV will be on active sonar mode and one OPV for pasif listening. This arthitecture makes subs out of operation zones. It does not meter AIP or not.

guys, how likely do you think the Bora missile family (bora, tayfun, cenk etc.) to be integrated into the MILDAS launch canister system?

it would be really nice if I-class ships had the ability to launch anti-ship ballistic missiles.

Compared to cruise missiles çakır atmaca and gezgin, they have a considerable weight disadvantage. Bora is 2.5 tonnes. Same for Tayfun (maybe a bit heavier)

Another disadvantage is they can be detected much more easily. And they can reveal the exact place of the ship(s) that launch them.

They are more expensive too.

But if they are as accurate as atmaca (we don't know it) they are much more difficult to intercept (even impossible for ships which don't have antibalistic missiles).

I class wont be able to do such thing because of its size and tonnage limitation.
actually, there is no ship in the world that can launch ballistic missile except super heavy chinese type55 destroyer.
it can launch YJ21 from its special VLS system which is heavier and lengthier than mark 41.

If TF 2000 can do something like that in the future,it would be a new strategic capability for TN.

They are already producing the 40mm naval cannons! Aselsan to produce electronic systems, 24 months to complete development. Possible use for the 40mm cannons for ground forces

So an on-deck variant will also be developed. Excellent news. There must be plans to integrate even very small platforms. A product that will take the throne of fast-forty is coming.

Land vehicle integration planning is also very important.
Army goes with 35 mm.
