I ask this because there was a render of CENK-S that did look exactly like NS100. The strange thing is that Aselsan did not ever show CENK-S in any fair or even on their own internet site and suddenly there is a radar. To me this gives a feeling that it most likely could be a licensed product.
I doubt Thales will sign another license deal with Aselsan that is nearly impossible and I know that project Hazar(Cenk-S is the product name) has been going on behind the doors for a long time.

Pretty much all single plane AESA radars looks the same, a big rotating rectangle.

From Thales NS100, Hensoldt TRS-4D and leonardo's Kronos radars...

Do we have any good picture of CENK radar? I have only seen on twitter, but than again you can never be sure if that is really the CENK radar or some representing picture.

Aselsan has still nothing on their site

Different types of unmanned sea vehicles (USV) are in development.

I was very pleased to ULAQ in Navy exercise and Atmaca test. The earlier it is in the field more knowledge, improvements we can apply.

Many concept will have to change/evolve. We are yet to see final design of next gen Turkish type FAC. First design was very advanced, very expensive. FACs supposed to be cheap. Navy looks to be wanting an very advanced boat. With the ongoing revision, new national systems going to allow much flexible design choices. I think especially the air defense capabilities will be prioritized.

Turkish built 76/62 mm gun, preparing to start firing tests soon.
Turkey was purchasing this gun from Leonardo for 8.2 million Euros. Due to embargoes implemented by EU countries it was decided to indigenously produce the same gun. Turkish project will be completed for approximately 4.7 million dollars.
Now Leonardo is offering the same gun for 5.1 million Euro including the training package and ammo.
Turkish gun. In it’s current form, is almost as good as the compact Oto Melara gun. But nowhere near as quick as the Super-Rapid version. The guided ammo with extended range that Oto Melara uses is another story. But these are development stages that will come in time.
The same story had occurred with JDAM production. When we couldn’t get enough quantities that we needed at 90+ thousand dollars each, we had started to produce our own HGK version at a cost of 27 thousand dollars. Following a successful firing, US came back and offered it to us for 25 thousand.

So, did turkey continue with the indigineous JDAM production or bought the cheaper alternative from the US?

Not just JDAM, but JSOW was also produced under the name of KGK.
Today Turkish airforce uses HGK and KGK in place of the JDAM and JSOW.
we did buy a small quantity of these so that our planes are aware of them. So that we can introduce our HGK and KGK as JDAM and JSOW to our planes’ computers.

I’d like to add that delivery time was also very long despite Turkey building many parts of it under license. So this is the basis for developing it inhouse by mkek.

I think we should prioritize our own production but accept leonardo delivery as well. We should go for super rapid whenever possible. That should be our next goal.

Super rapid is the one that we should go for, on our I-class ships. With Aselsan fire control system specially developed for them it is the perfect match. Vulcano style indigenous ammunition is also something to look in to. This ammunition gives pin point accuracy with 40km range.
127mm version has a range of 100km.

Because they did order very late, to be honest none of the orders for Ada class or I class were made on time, it was rushed ' hey here money, lets start construction',then 'ok now money allocated lets buy the equipments'
Orders made one by one for each. The engines were also awaited for some months at some point because they have been late to order it.
Cant really accuse embargoes or late deliveries.
