Looks like a tiny ship.
It is. It's not a fleet replenishment ship but a more simpler fuel carrier between ships, docks etc. One of the silent heroes of logistics, they don't even get proper names but just "Fuel-3".

Highly marketable at this point. I mean who wouldn't like a small but proven system against small UAVs on their ships cruising at the Red Sea?

İstif class will be one of the most dedicated ew warships.
Istanbul Class has R-ESM/ECM that focuses on radar frequencies. For drones it requires V/HF jammers as well. (C-ESM/ECM). Kangal-D is for starters and easy and plug&play system. We will see variations of navalized milkar, ihtar etc. later.

TAIS Defense General Manager Doğan BEŞCAN was the guest of the SAHA Academy and made important statements about the future.
BEŞCAN: "We had undertaken an ambitious project to build 3 ships in the I Class program in 3 shipyards in 3 years. With the SSIK decisions announced this January, these 3 ships increased to 7 ships. At the same time, one of our partners, Anadolu Shipyard, is building 8 tank landing ships."

8 new tank landing ship ? Building at the moment ? 🤔 First time i hear about it , I hear that there was a plan to build new ones but not already building , So additional 151 class or another type ?

I think he stated before that lct's will be built by ADIK shipyard (Anadolu Shipyard) . But there is a point on his statement that needs to be explained; he said that we will build +3 more i class related to decision taken in last ssik meeting. But in this decision it was also added that we will build further 4+ more frigate. Looks like one of them will be built by asfat. Thats kind of a scenario whereby it is of a probable updated design of İstif class. (Could be As3600 I think) Generally new designs are first built in military shipyards. After that private shipyards are used.

Per a claim, Barbaros and Kemalreis will undergo the Barbaros MLU program together at the same time, and Salihreis will follow later

2 modern frigates will be in the shipyard for at least a year and there will be a reduction in the number of front line ships again. No timeframe for the completion of MLU for the two vessels. Oruçreis started the program in the beginning of 2022 and it still is in tests. This was expected as it’s the project ship. Hopefully the two can be made ready in half the time.

Man couldn't they have gone 1 by 1 or waited a little for some of the Hisar and İstif to be delivered
