In my opinion, AIP technology with fuel cells is the wrong way for submarines, although it has been used in several countries. The future is lithium-ion operation.

1) Very long underwater operation,
2) very direct response to the command,
3) very high underwater speed,
4) very short charging time,
5) low maintenance,
6) Known and more controllable technology,
7) Ease of construction and
8) Placement in submarine bodies.

Fuel cell operation is exactly the opposite of these.

The Japanese have realized this and equipped their last three SORYU class submarines and new Taygay class submarines with Li-Ion technology.

Dual Engine Kizilelma but only single engine Naval Hürjet models. How feasible is a single engine Hürjet?

Hürjet as a naval fighter in late 2030s-early 2040s is not feasible in any configuration whatsoever. It is a stupid idea. We'd be better of without an aircraft carrier if we're going half arse the most important part of one. Just built Trakya with focus on drones. Hell, we could probably built 2 more like it and it would still cost less than an aircraft carrier that is going to use Hürjet...

Lets not throw claims based on nothing.

If we are going to have a discussion like this we can talk about assumptions, but can not talk about it as facts. We should be a bit more aware and contribute to the discussion with something credible if we are to support a claim.

@Anmdt there you go mate

Unmanned Soldier to the Depths of the Blue Homeland: STM NETA

STM introduced the National Unmanned Autonomous Underwater Vehicle STM NETA at the SAHA EXPO Fair. STM General Manager Ozgur Guleryuz:

"Our ‘STM NETA 300’ shallow water underwater vehicle, which we introduced today, is just the beginning for us and the first member of the family. The first mission of the STMNETA 300 will be the detection, classification and identification of mines."

"STM NETA 300 will offer solutions that will meet both military and civilian needs thanks to its modular and flexible design, high level of autonomy, and unique software. We aim for a product family that can perform tasks ranging from military reconnaissance, surveillance, intelligence gathering, contribution to submarine defense warfare, and destruction of explosives to civilian pipeline inspection and geophysical research. After intensive work on the first member of the family, STM NETA 300, we have moved on to the pool and sea tests phase. We will share these images very soon."

The Unmanned Autonomous Underwater Vehicle “STM NETA 300”, developed by STM engineers with local and national resources, is the first member of this family. With its compact structure and flexible, modular design, the STM NETA 300, which can be carried by two people, has the capacity to operate at depths of up to 300 meters. STM NETA 300, which can reach a maximum speed of 5 knots, is equipped with a battery that can operate for up to 24 hours. The national İOSA will contribute to the Mine Countermeasure (MKT) Operation at a depth of 300 meters.

Appreciate 🥰 The UAV has Synthetic Aperture Sonar or side scan sonar?
