Why is Turkey side with Ukraine?
If Ukraine wins this war, it will join NATO and the European Union. Russia, on the other hand, will turn inward and cease to be a threat to Europe for a long time. Ukraine's accession to NATO will accelerate Finland's accession to NATO. All these developments will cause Turkey to lose its importance in NATO. Because if there is no Russian threat, there is no need for Turkey. In this case, it means that things will become more difficult for us both in the eastern Mediterranean and in Syria. The best scenario for turkey should be russian capture of ukraine without much civilian loss and turkey should be the only savior for european countries. When Europeans look at the map, they should see Russia, Russian-controlled Belarus and Ukraine and be afraid. only then will they understand the value of Turkey.

Not really
The ideal situation for Turkey would be a ceasefire with Ukraine maintaining most of its territorial integrity and Russia gaining some lands to be happy; thus, Turkey keeps its good relation with Russia while appearing as heroes to the ppl of Ukraine. As a result, turkey is hitting two birds with one stone

At the same time, Turkey can use the war issue as an excuse to speed up ToT from Ukraine as Turkey will have the necessary infrastructure to rebuild the planes amd rockets Ukraine lost until the ukranians rebuild the lost infrastructure

I don’t know if I should cry or laugh … What a shame.
Nothing tbh
This incident should have been a wake up sign to all Turks. The Turks should learn from this; yet sadly, the ppl here still only talk about which butt to lick "either the West (CHP) or the Russians (Pseudo-AKP)

When TSK soldiers died, the West didnt give a single f**k; while Russia exploited this weakness to its own advantage
None cares what happens to the Turks
That is why iam happy to see Turkey rn selling drones to Ukraine to f**k russian forces while keeping a poker face and saying "we dont know what you are talking about"

I will repeat Erdo's words to all of you guys: "The current world order is shifting from the West and if Turkey doesnt have its own means to protect itself, then it wont have the means to protect itself during these turbulent times"
Another statement was: "The best response to the US kicking us out of the F35, is to speed up the TFX program" and now in just 5 years, the first ground prototype will soon come out

If you noticed, the more Hard power Turkey gets, the more moves Turkey gets in the international arena and more fear gets instilled into your enemies
This is why rn, Russia is wary of Turkey, Greece is wary of Turkey, France is wary of Turkey, and the US is wary of Turkey

Slowly but surely Turkey is improving but as Seljuk Bayraktar once said: "No matter how many achievements we make, as long as there is no political will, all what we built will evaporate instantly" I just hope ppl learn

Europeans should be afraid. A draw is not enough for this. Russia must win. There should be a pro-Russian government in Ukraine. The belarus-ukraine-russia alliance should make the Europeans tremble, so to speak. That's when you don't need to buy a motor from Ukraine, Canadian Europeans come to your feet and give their products. because turkey is now improving relations with israel and armenia, this will improve relations with the west. And if the Russian threat reaches its peak, there will be no reason not to reconcile with the West. By the way, I'm not a fan of the west, I just believe that we should meet the Americans and Europeans in the middle for the interests of the country.

Key points:

  • Replace the current presidential system of government that went into effect after the April 2017 referendum.
  • Drop the election threshold to 3% and establish a framework for the political representation of Turkish nationals living abroad.
  • Put an end to the president’s veto + strengthen Parliament’s relations with relevant nongovernmental organizations (NGOs)
  • Limit the president to a single seven-year term, requires that the president sever their ties to political parties and prohibits them from joining a political party after their term.

No matter how much they fancy it up, the main problem in the parliamentary system (IMO) is that the HDP will own the CHP by the bloody balls. This means that the CHP may be forced to make concessions in order to gain their favour.
The HDP had clearly shown and stated great disgust in Turkey's operation in Syria and Domestication of weapons used by the TSK such as TB2s and reportedly calling them "Weapons of destruction". However, obviously, the machine guns and armored vehicles used by the PKK to kill innocent turks is within the legal zone since they use such weapons as forks to eat food (sarcasm)

Indeed thats why we can't allow return to 2001 and this country's governing system must change.Security hole called democracy must come an end.

Seems like your issue starts with free speech. People are free to say what they want and its another entire different thing for it to get approved and get set into law.

Just my 2 cents since you seem to be scared by democracy.

The Turkish language part is probably what some of them are after. But such a change would require a referendum. Do you see any chance that this referendum would pass? I dont think so, so let them talk as much as they want.

Its a talking point to gather Kurdish votes and that wont happen to begin with.

Yes i am tired of .. democracy that allows American assets to take control of this country every 4 years then we ask same stupid questions like Why PKK problem never ends? Countless years of development lost because of those assets .
