No one can be compelled to participate in worship, religious rites and ceremonies, or to reveal their religious beliefs and convictions; cannot be condemned or blamed for their religious beliefs and convictions.

Religious and moral education and training is carried out under the supervision and control of the State. Religious culture and moral education are among the compulsory courses taught in primary and secondary schools. Apart from this, religious education and training depends only on the will of the individuals and the request of the legal representative of the minors.

The CHP doesnt give a damn per say about the kurds
From how I see it, I believe that it is a gesture from the CHP to the West
Probably, the CHP will want to portray themselves as amicable, peaceful, party to the West and one such means is by meeting up with the Syrian Kurds! You do know how Erdo is hunting the Syrian kurds and the PKK like rabbits and you do know thatbthe West is in favour of forming Great Kurdistan. Thus, such a move is logical if they wanna EU help to remain in power
Iam one of those who believe that if we are to replace the AKP, it should be another party rather than the CHP.
The CHP is too West aligned and I assume that they will receive full political support which will presumably put them in power for around 20 years at least; from my view, I believe that the CHP will make massive concessions for the West amd I believe that it may revolve around:-
1- Turkish nuclear program
2- Turkish Weapons program (either stop it or share the technologies behind it)
3- Turkish influence worldwide; i-e, both in Asia and Africa

In Turkey, it seems that the Ppl are ready to replace the AKP thieves with the traitorous CHP. You guys need to find a new party and leader. I for one, believe that Ince is a good choice

Hm.... from my meager understanding about muslims worldwide, the Muslims outside of Turkey loves Erdo because he is probably the only one rn who is standing up to the West.

As far as i see, opposition parties doesn't care a damn about these arguments. Erdogan visited US before the 2002 elections, nobody accused of him treason.

Today's opposition will rule after 2023. So, it's natural to go and explain themselves and construct a connection with foreign countrys' officials. This won't be the last. Before elections we will see opposition leader visiting Arab countries, European Countries and US.

I could make you a list of how erdogans says one thing but doest the exact opposite but it would probably be a waste of time anyways.

Some people judge him with his words. Some people with his actions and the reality.

For example, he said after 2023 Turkey won't be importing energy but Turkey will export energy. Science says otherwise. But people who judge him with his words, believe him. There is not much to do about those people. Unfortunately, they believe whatever Erdogan says.

About atheism i dont think a Turk can live without believing in a God. A Turk who does not believe in something has no purpose in life.

Religion has always played a key role in Turkic history. But religion itself is dying thanks to capitalism along with science and technology. People no longer want to believe.

Islam is the religion of Arabs whether we like it or not. If you believe like an Arab, If you feel like an Arab, If you trade like an Arab, If you pray like an Arab, If you wear clothes like an Arab you are indeed an Arab. Not that this is a bad thing. Being Arab is perfectly fine nothing wrong with that. But forcing others to become Arab is the wrong part. Mr. Ali Erbaş is exactly doing that. Today he told that we should use economic and trade rules of Arabs, social traditions, and rules of Arabs, we should use the laws of Arabs, etc.

You are right on the god part. Old Turkic beliefs are somewhere between deism and pantheism. We even twisted sharia of Islam to suit our needs because of those roots.
