That was not the military, it was Erdogans ex, the people he himself nurished and made that strong to begin with.
Because of my lack of knowledge about FETO i still can't figure it out what those people wanted actually?
Were they actually assisted by CIA?

I wrote a long reply but looking at the comments here it's not worth it to even debate or have any honest discussion because it's worthless . unfortunately around 4 or 5 members who made this thread and the forum poisonous but I wouldn't want them banned , in fact I was kinda sad that Manomd is banned cuz he didn't deserve it + he way better than some here .

Anyway , me seeing the Turkish people abroad made me question how Erdogan came to power , but then reading what people write here I do understand why .

Bye
😂😂,
In the west(USA and Canada) you see intellectual Turks not akp supporters like in Europe.
We are under akp rule, since almost all tv stations are under akp control and they make same broadcasting controlled by some inner circle people. Same is true for newspapers as well.
All old people mostly prone to tv broadcasting a ,they do not know to use internet etc. But all new generation and up to 45-50 years old ones are using internet and seeing what is the reality. Many people supported akp in the past because if economy etc, and akp used this support to get full control of state institutes.
Now with this kind of control and getting away from democracy resulted in worsening in every platform that akp touched. To cover this akp uses media.
But they will lose in a fair election under this conditions.
They know this!!
It seems i understand that from your words you hate those Turks in the west , you are like our Turkish people in Europe. They mostly support akp but they support greens there and get welfare of Europe. And they talk bad about those countries that they live when they come here. So we don't need any advice or any word from a guy like this.
So you do not know Turkish history, you do not know Turkish politics better than us.

I am curious, how do you view 2016s coup?
Was a good opportunity for them to gain total control of the state. Many good men who dedicated their lifes for the country were poisoned, killed, pushed to commit suicide and humiliated by FETOists right under AKP's nose.

No worries buddy, I get similar attacks from some angry teenagers here just because I study in Italy. They think they're the only ones who can talk about anything related to Turkey and it's politics. Since they're not capable of defending their arguments with intelligence and respect, they attack you simply because they're somehow "more Turkish" than you.

This new type of vulgar nationalism is the biggest cancer in today's Turkish society.

Yes, and Erdogan himself came to power with the assistance of these people who are CIA pawns, they had to get rid of him once he wanted too much power for himself.

They are boosting Imamoglu's reputation for 2023 elections same way they boosted Erdogan's for 2001 elections.Same formula they are not even bother to change it.Our people love anything Mağdur(victim) after all.

He is not even Turk!! So yes , we are more turk than him. No need to compare intelligences, especially after when he thinks that he knows our history or politics better than us, and calling our democracy history as dictatorial.

Nobody even told him he can not comment, i dont know with which part of his body corvus is reading the posts here, the only ones resorting to personal attacks and threatenings are they themselves.

I didn't get it. I personally didn't see such a threat so I don't know.

Btw, I'm not pointing fingers to anyone in particular. I'm not talking about who is right or wrong either. I'm just saying: if you are going to discuss with someone, don't play we are Turkish card. This is an international forum and everyone can express their ideas. This goes the same for you, you can comment about, let's say Palestine as much as him.

If that's the case, he seems right about knowing our history better than you do.

Then first actually read the posts before accusing people.

Again read posts before you comment, i never said he is not allowed to post, i said he has to deal with my opinion as a Turk about my own country after he threatened me with ban.

Btw, i voted for the forum to be international and not Turkish only before it even existed, the Greek forum exists due to my proposal, i know exactly the forum rules and free speech dont you worry about it.
But maybe remind our Palestinian friend about it who threatens people with bans, which is laughable to begin with, once he reads an unpopular opinion.

I think we over use the word “attack” in this forum. If people can’t take the heat , get out of the kitchen. This is a platform where everyone opinions are going to be challenged and if you can’t handle that.. well I guess don’t post anything 🤷🏻‍♂️ just don’t start using word like “attack” or “personal” etc once your opinions get debunked

Right ,he knows Turkish history better.
He knows nothing about Türkiye, We were democracy before 2011. I wish one party term should have been more, so majority of voters would be educated ones and they would not go after lier politicians. And you can not call one party times a dictoria as explained by xenon54. It was must to change our peoples mindset , change slave mentality.
We face this kind of issues since one party time ended earlier than it should be.
At past ,we were economically bad like today, but institutes were following rules most of the times. And you would thrust these institutes thx to democracy. Now, every institute is fucked up, this only proves that we are going backward and getting away from democracy.

but he clearly doesn't. Silly remark.

on a side note we were created as a democratic republic with a constitution that protects the rights and liberties of all, at least on paper. A pure democracy always leads into socialism and that leads into communism and then into outright tyranny.

The path to freedom and liberty requires an enlightened people, otherwise the hell of the past awaits us all in the future.

Oddly enough, the President Erdogan once called those who participated in the Gezi protests "slut" 6-7 months ago. He said; "I spoke in the language of the nation".

he's perfect for the people he represents. rational and reasonable people would never fall for his tricks or deceptions. But lets be honest, maybe half the country maybe even more hasn't read one book.

We are a nation whose potential is crippled by her widespread ignorance. This ignorance can only really be cured from a top down approach. Just like Ataturk made sure people would learn to read and write, you need a government who cares for his nation and people to enact policies that raises the lowest levels of society and i dont mean by handing out benefits.

But as far as the politicians in Turkey are concerned in general its just a business to them, they want to own and control this business. This means shutting down all compitition and restricting the individual liberties and rights of the public so that they cannot challenge corruption.

This is incredibly weird. I haven't come across even one AKP supporter who welcomes this decision. Something's off.

I am curious, how do you view 2016s coup?
man I'm too lazy to give you full answer , here is the summary , according to general ergin saygun
since israel are surrounded by hostile arab/musilm nations its need to created new neighbor to guaranty its long term security that country is kurdistan which would be carved out of turkey iran syria and iraq and all the west are backing them
here our story begin with this guy , general eşref bitlis

170220211402401803371.jpg

general bitils was fully aware about the americans plan for middle east so he created his own plan to counter it .the bitils plan are as follows

1- there should be a continuse non stop fight with pkk
2- the kurdish people need to by embraced by the governments in the region for this turkey should start working with iran iraq and syrian governments
3- at all cost all the foreign powers should be kept away from the region

the last item put him on the Americans radar . one of the time when he was traveling to iraqi kurdistan by helicopter , an American f16 fly so close to his helicopter in order to crash the helicopter by jet's thrust . the general saved only by skill of helicopter pilot . since army was against what the west were planning ,then they tried put pressure on army in democratic ways here enters FETÖ
1563776582_3.jpg

general eşref bitlis later killed in mysterious helicopter crash in Ankara ( if you ask me i would say cia killed him)

feto is a islamist cult made by cia they chase smart kids in middle and high schools offer scholarship and free dormitory for poor student and there they brain wash them . these student are called golden generation whom will infiltered the government .
in 2002 akp , with the help of FETÖ, came to power . in that year 9 11 terror attacked happened and usa wanted to invade iraq and afghanistan . generals followed the bitlis plan and stop american solider to land in turkey in order to invade iraq , at the same time erdogan was trying to get 2/3 majority vote in parliament to allow them to land in turkey

things get heated between the US and turkish militaries in early 2000s they arrest some of turkish commandos in iraq and put bag on their head
meanwhile there was tense exchange between chift of general staff of turkish armed force general Hüseyin kıvrıkoğlu and
United States Deputy Secretary of Defense paul wolfowitz about the city of Kirkuk which was a turkmen city , exchange goes as follows

huseyinkivrikoglu.jpg
493932-G-WUB03-313.jpg

Hüseyin kıvrıkoğlu : a kurdish govermnet that include kirkuk is unacceptable , if you try that then we will enter from south (into iraq) and stop it

paul wolfowitz : i am United States Deputy Secretary of Defense you cant talk to me like that

Hüseyin kıvrıkoğlu : and i am the chift of general staff of turkish armed forces and a turkmen on top of that

i write the conversation to show you how bad it was and remember while all of this was happening akp and FETÖ was undermining the army eventually at 2008 and 2009 the famous ergenekon and slage hammer trial happened . lots of the kemalist generals were arrested and some died in prison most of them forced into retirement by erdogan which paved the way for FETÖ generals to get into important positions and they stage a coup in 2016
with this AKP-FETÖ prevented Turkish army to have any influence on future of İRAQ and later Syria during invasion . now we are suffering for their actions with 13 million refugees

2 of the most important name trialed in ergenekon and slage hammer trial was engin alan and ilker başbuğ

bolunmeye-ceyrek-kalaa632bf60f7390998090b29c949cb4500.jpg

56467.jpg

engin alan was the former chief of special forces who was the architect behind the operation that captured abullah ocalan the leader of PKK . as protest to trials he didn't stand up when erdogan came . for that FETÖ judges fabricate fake document and charge him for 18 year of prison for terrorism later those document proven to be false
