Check the facts before jumping to conclusion. Turkey is sending them back - en masse even. Here are the numbers for last year:

• 275.000 refugees have been denied entry to Turkey point blank at the Turkish border by our security forces
• 120.000 refugees have been deported from Turkey; this figure increased by 159% compared to last year
• 25.000 illegal immigrants are in the custody of the Turkish state at the moment waiting for the completion of their paperwork in order to be deported
• number of illegal border crossing from Iran, Irak and Syria decreased by 40% (!) due to excessive surveillance and monitoring of the border regions

Source: https://www.goc.gov.tr/sinir-disi-119817

To give you an idea of how much illegals the government is sending back: the entire EU deported just 80.000 refugees in 2021.
Don't take any official data at face value.

Although he called the F35 a 4th generation fighter aircraft in a program on the youtube, he is speaking logically here.

So called Urbanites of Istanbul.

By the way the Turkish independance war started in the Anatolian heartland and the black sea region the so called Urban elite areas all surrendered to the allies.

Most of the Turkish soldiers all hailed from peasant backgrounds even so called Ottomans elites and Republican elites did not give a fck about which continues today.

Thats why Ankara was the capital and Ataturk led his forces from the heartland.

If Ataturk stayed in Istanbul there would be no Turkiye.

I can safely most of us come from ancestors who were peasants. Nothing wrong with that.

The problem is remaining a peasant. Just like when the religious classes forced the Ottomans to ban the printing press while the west was educating her population and industrialising we remained intellectual peasants and as a result the non-Muslim walked in became the master of the Muslim and still today for the most part they are the masters of the Muslims. They can conduct a global agenda to show Muslims as fanatical intolerant terrorists who hate freedom and liberty and the Muslim world cannot combat it, just like the Turks cannot combat the PKK communist terrorists being portrayed and turned into heroes.

Whether you will ever see it, but Islam has been hijacked by the west and its being used in a way to ruin Muslims.

As far as Ataturk is concerned intellectually speaking he was a genius. Ataturk could have never given the Turkish nations something like Syria for example.

And never forget when an agenda takes place to dehumanise a entire peoples its because those conducting it eventually aim to destroy those they demonise.

Printing press is not a black and white issue.

But it stems from politics rather than just religion you had all those scribe writers and calligraphers who wont take to losing their jobs.

Printing press may have led to mass production of books but only small amount who had read them as education has always been for the ones who can afford it.

Reason why us Turks were late because we never a merchant class of people while the Greeks and Armenians along with Jews were.

This wealth allowed them to send their sons abroad to study.

I do believe colonialism played a big role in the industrial revolution while the Renniasance is overrated.

Industrial revolution hit all conservative and traditional societies like a train.

Ottomans, Mughals, Qing, Hasburgs and the Russians were all hit with such a change they did not know how to react.

I do believe the collapse of the Ottomans need to studied even further since its like a 200 to 300 year of weakening and decline.

Barely any proper studies conducted on it just like the collapse of the Roman Empire.

Centuries of an empire lasting cant be explained with black and white.

I dont deny how being conservative religion played a role in the Ottomans collapsibg but that was just a series of factors which led to the collapse of a 600 year empire.

We are focused more on the Osmanli because many Turkic Empires both Pre Islamic and Post Islamic only lasted to 100 to 200. Many nomadic empires like the Huns collapsed within decades while Timur and Nader Shah the Turkmen's empire all collapsed after they died.

I still believe the Turkish republic will be much stronger than all.

Due to technology and manpower.

We may not own a lot of land or control other countries but the era of empires are dead.

We have plenty of examples of Ottoman interests groups screwing the empire to maintain their own privileged positions, the religious classes worked hard to keep the Muslim citizens dumb and it worked, we couldn't produce anything until Ataturk came around. Who could forget taking cannons and destroying universities because "we shouldnt look into Allah's secrets." Of course their big fear was that an enlightened nation would do away with them. For the islamist grifters to maintain an easy life they need their followers to be blind and dumb.

We also have the Janissaries who became a cancer on the military, doing everything to hinder its advancement or change since they didn't want to lose their privileged position either. Causing to lose wars we should have never of lost.

Right now we see religious orders radicalising the Muslims, they are easy to spot for example they have binary hatred of "Kemalists" and Ataturk. Its the same binary hatred that PKK kids are brainwashed to believe.

Ottomans at their peak wouldn't turn such trivial shitty little issues about whether a women can wear a hijab in a public office or not into something that creates nationwide sectarian divisions and hatreds. Ottomans were the kind of people who would even give christians/jews important positions of power if it meant the improvement of the overall empire, in an era when it was normal to destroy your religious rivals.

The religious orders in Turkey and the PKK are two sides of the same coin, both encourage mindless radicalism that sees everything in black and white. Both ultimatly undermine the soverignty and peace of the nation.

Nothing is really black and white its various shades of grey, don't be tricked by these organisations nearly all of them are not what you think they are.

CÊXÂP being CÊXÂP. Nothing new.

I really ddon't understand. I can gather more votes for freakin MHP in Kurdish areas by cursing and swearing from the election tour bus. CHP grovels 7/24 for Kurdish vote and still gets nothing. Party leadership is trash.

only reason CHP would openly support PKK is if they want AK party to win. What they would do is pretend they are against the PKK and once they win elections they can then push PKK agenda.

So who wins from CHP promoting PKK in an era when the Turkish economy is shit, AK party wins. So whose really behind all this?

Thanks for the advice, Captain Obvious.

There are dozens of reports from NGOs and refugee groups basically confirming the data of the Ministry of Interior.

To give an example: https://www.hrw.org/news/2022/11/18/turkey-pushes-afghans-back-iran-border

Just use Google for more reports and witnesses.
Seriously? Even we in Germany don’t know how much refugees we have. And our registration constitution is much better than that in TR. 6-7 mio refugees are not unlikely.

The nationalist vote in Turkiye is heading towards 40% and with this trend it will reach an absolute majority in a generation. The problem is that these nationalist sectors are divided into different factions and parties. Moreover, almost every political party, in order not to lose votes, is trying to get closer to the most favorable of these factions and to make room in the parliament for the relevant people within their own party.

The good thing about this is that in the current arithmetic, both main blocs can be controlled to a meaningful extent. In fact, the third branch outside these two main blocs is essentially led by left nationalists and right nationalists(e.g. zafer, memleket). In addition to the fact that nationalist elements have forced almost every political party into a self-control (with the exception of parties such as the hdp, small left-wing parties that are leftovers of the gladio, and Soros apparatus parties such as deva), the transformation that this engagement has created especially in the young bases of the parties in question (e.g. akp) is noteworthy. What I am about to write may draw a reaction here, but I must tell you clearly that the children of people who lost their essence growing up in the 1980s and 90s with anti-Atatürk sentiments are now defending against their fathers how important Atatürk is for this country.

Because of this ideological shift, the leaders of the political parties that those fathers followed are now saying one flag, one nation, whereas yesterday they said hail to ummah, we are 65457846 nation. The irony is that this is a political conjuncture in which they are forced to do so. In other words, even the ruling party has to rely on nationalist discourse to stay in power.

While I respect everyone's opinion, my assessment is that conditions are emerging where nationalists will be in their own power after a very short period . The million dollar question is when these factions will come together under one roof. Timing is everything. As the process showing that we will see, and we have already started to see, many conspiracies to create feuds and deep divisions among nationalists in order to prevent this.

Babacan, who visited Fincancı, a Pkk supporter who shamelessly slandered the Turkish Armed Forces, must not have been able to pick up the pace, because this time he started attacking Baykar, which plays an important role in operations against Pkk terrorists. What was frequently voiced by the fetö media last year is now being voiced by the Deva Party officials in unison.

At a time when the company is in the midst of a major breakthrough, the mindsets that would try to destroy a company with a history of fighting bureaucracy and tutelage should never find a place in the opposition. Now that this party's populism to gain votes for the possibility of the closure of the HDP has become more and more obvious, someone from the opposition bloc should give the necessary answer to them.

Those people should not be able to walk freely. They obviously are the enemy.
