The amount of times I've had Pakistanis trying to teach me my own, "our", "common history" and country because they watched Sikilis Ertugrul. This series has been a true curse on this nation. And they call you not a "true" Turk because you love Ataturk and don't fall for their cosby play "ummah brotherhood". I usually bring up Jinnah being secular and the crimes they committed on Muslim Bengalis they go crazy.

Come on you want people in your country who cant even differentiate between fact and fiction, right and wrong, modern and backwards, who probably fantasize over a 12 yo Halima Baji when they visit your country.

This image really sums it up, UrduPoint has almost 7 million subscribers, 5 million views and 91k plus likes on a video romanticizing a 13 yo being kidnapped by a 27 yo pedo. But it is only a "few bad apples".
As a afshar Turkmen amount of time pakistanis called me fake Turk was funny they think they are turkic or carry turkish dna lol

This is beyond disgusting

@Nilgiri @Lonewolf Now I understand what you were dealing for years.

Turkey needs to re-align itself as strongly as possible with its founding father Ataturk's modern republic ideals and principles.

In that is secularism and strong protection of borders.

The answers are all in there.

🇹🇷 needs that inner political consolidation again...

..... otherwise weak borders and large flow of illegals into it (who are not secular-thinking or understand Turk society well enough) will continue to be inevitable.

Without strong borders, rule of law and core honesty+continued commitment to the republic's founding....you will not have a country in the end.

This can all be addressed from the Turkish side of things, without having to venture into what scale of representation some set of illegals are of their larger (developing) country of origin.

Developing countries in general have large swathes of society that are not educated/civilised that will inevitably try their luck if (another) country is lax in accepting them (in some open border way) for whatever reason (or has presented a faulty image of itself).

The worst of them will then keep pushing their luck on other things too, because bad behaviour has now been normalised and self-reinforced.....why stop if no stick has been given.

That it why that has to be changed and there must be clear walls and sticks for basic rule of law (a country's borders and its right to choose whom it accepts into it and only with proper consensus of its population).

That is more productive than entering exercise of extrapolating a segment of bad apple opportunistic predators (in the conclusion of this process that was allowed to happen) to the entirety of their origin.

Problems need precise solutions rather than too much emotional blowback.

I am confident Turks will come together and find a solution in election cycle coming in 2023.

You should see our "brothers" on peedf apparently us Turks should control our "racism" while they have an open hand to harras kids, women and insult Turks. They started the DNA talk already apparently "they not really Turkz" lol.

I created a thread on Turkey realignment in SE Asia and was deleted, why? Because I was too harsh apparently on Pakistan for exposing all the cons they did on us.

I'm out of this thread, waste of time, some Turks are still stuck on this ummati mindset and perfer to ruin future generations of this country because they don't want offend some groups.

Talk about cucked mindset.

Don't stay ind PEEDF that place is cursed. Also Turks didn't become racist in just one day amount of stuff those pakistanis did made us act like this.

Average Anatolian Turks scores up to %60 medieval turkmen dna while having anatolian dna.

On the other hand pakistanis are not even a one people they are bunch of tribes living with eachother.

None of our neighbours carry Siberian-East asian ancestry Only Turks carry that.

There is historical interactions between Pakistani people and Turks no doubt but it seems they think that makes us the same. I think they have a terrible misconception of our country and more often then not think the former Ottoman Caliphate still spiritually./ideologically existing within our borders. We are a secular republic with an ever increasing population that is rejecting religion or at least not basing their entire identity on it, which is fundamentally in stark contrast to Pakistani identity. That socio-cultural gap has simply become far to big and I think both Turks and Pakistani did not realize it until this very moment.

Now lets also be realistic here, there is a lot of Anti-immigrant sentiments sweeping our society no doubt but lets not get lost in the xenophobic and racist thought processes here. Lets be constructive and pragmatic about it. No doubt there are many of them who are productive members of our society and contribute in so much positives ways, but this mind boggling amount of refugees/immigrants is simply unsustainable. Western countries had the advantage that people came in waves and had job opportunities ready for them. Assimilation and integration was largely successful but Turkey does not have that luxury, plain and simple.

Seriously though I am so tempted to vote for Umit Ozdag even though much of what he says is rhetoric and throwing fuel on the fire. I need Turkish politicians to take this seriously and bring out concrete plans to dealing with it.

Germany absorbed millions of migrants or guest workers during an economic boom, and yet we still have issues here 40-50 years later. This is going to take decades to halfway integrate all the refugees, knowing how nationalistic our people are.

But Ümit Özdag is just another populist akin to Golden Dawn in Greece or the Brexit party in UK.

Btw: thank you for making sense in an otherwise pretty low quality thread.

I still don't understand that why are you in love with pakistani-afghan-syrian immigrants.
you are not paying the tax for their expenses. Your live isn't in danger when leaving your home unlike the turkish people living here.

The amnesty document signed by the Minister of Justice Ahmet Seyid in Syria was officially published. Now, there is no problem for Syrians to return to their countries.
