Aselflir-600 has accurate geo-location capability. No matter the distance, Aselflir can provide a targeting solution for fixed targets.

This is already covered ...........what C in R ( C ) stands for is a calculation...... this calculatons involves EO/IR line of sight (LOS) angle i.e azimuth and elevation angles, Platform GPS/INS position and slant range estimation.

''No matter the distance''? Yes and No! The calculation is distance independent, but the resulting error is not!!!

Even in an ordinary day and under normai circumstances Error stack problem occures i.e stacking of LOS angular error (microradians), Lateral position error, INS drift, Platform attitude error even with high-grade tactical INS or GPS.... And Error stack problem is not very distance friendly since even very minimal errors ends up with significant results with distance, this does not mean the imperfection of Aselfilir 600 but simple physics.

ASELFLIR has exceptional and excellent ISR quality and perfect to cue the network..... this is simply the essence of it

With Ahmet Akyol's words: ''ASELFLIR-600 provides Turkey's UAVs and attack platforms with strategic depth target detection and identification capabilities.''

This is wrong. You first have to learn how geo-location in Aselflir-600 works. This is not how it works. This is how Aselflir-300T works. Aselflir has sensor fusion based advanced geo-locating capability.
*Error stack problems occur.
It does not occur because it is not how it works.

Welcome to 21st century where we have sensor fusion, where drones can cruise without GPS data, where we can get every kind of positional data through platforms' own (jam resistant GPS/INS sensors, altimeters etc) sensors, through datalinks from ground or other aircraft, through satcom, where we have highly detailed(1cm to 1m level) maps on board platforms so that we can compare our relative position to what we see. You see that hill in the picture? Aselflir-600 knows the exact coordinates of that hill from 225km away and Aselflir knows the coordinates of a possible target (an object with a size similar to a MBT), with an error rate of 3 to 4 meters.

Concerning the real distinction between ASELFLIR-300T and ASELFLIR-600

The improvement is not that ASELFLIR-600 “doesn’t have error stacks'' The real advances are: Multi-frame temporal fusion, Terrain-aided navigation, Cooperative cueing and updates, Better attitude knowledge and stabilization and Smarter uncertainty management... Error propagation is controlled not eliminated.

ASELFLIR-600 significantly reduces geolocation uncertainty through multi-source sensor fusion, but it remains bounded by geometry, observability, and physics. Errors are managed probabilistically, not eliminated.

rest of your post is word salad or information and concepts used without their true and full connctions to their contextes or their true relations with each other.

Aselflir can provide a targeting solution for an MBT sized target with an error of 3-4 meters over 200 km (this is not open source knowledge). Rest is not important. Your argument was Aselflir-600 can't do that. Now you moved the goalpost to where I stand, good for you. Aselsan actively markets Aselflir-600 as a "superior" solution to Wescam or other producers' products in the same class.

Here you can listen Ahmet Akyol tells as Aselflir-600 is one step ahead from the rest. It is not because of image quality/range performance. MX-25 offers similar capability in that regard.

This is like a revolutionary upgrade to the MILSAR we knew that had an under 30km range.
This new version developed for Maritime use, specifically for Aksungur, will give an effective range of 90 Nm(166km). Aksungur can accommodate a tandem use version. It can also be used to give mid course correction to surface launched antiship missiles (land or ship launched).

The primary advantages include:
  • Dual Capability in One Unit: The system combines high-resolution imaging (SAR) for stationary targets and tracking of moving targets (MTI) into a single, versatile package.
  • Adverse Weather Operation: Because it is a radar system, MILSAR can operate "over-the-cloud," providing ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) capabilities in low-visibility, day-or-night conditions where Electro-Optical (EO) sensors fail.
  • "Slew-to-Cue" Functionality: On larger platforms, the SAR and MTI can work together, allowing the radar to immediately shift focus to a moving target identified by the MTI mode, increasing efficiency.
  • Operational Flexibility: MILSAR offers both Stripmap mode for wide-area surveillance and Spotlight mode for high-resolution imaging and classification of specific targets.
  • Low Size, Weight, and Power : With a weight of less than 30kg, it is designed for easy integration onto tactical UAVs (e.g., Bayraktar TB2, ANKA) as well as larger platforms (e.g., Aksungur).
  • Immediate Target Data: The system provides real-time data on target location, speed, and direction, which can be displayed on geo-referenced, digital maps for operators.
Because of it’s geometry it can be used in Tandem form from Aksungur;
Having a tandem MILSAR (Miniature SAR/MTI Radar) system, which integrates both Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and Moving Target Indication (MTI) capabilities, provides several tactical advantages for unmanned aerial vehicles as pointed out above.

This would also be great to pair with heavier USVs that can carry Çakır or maybe even Atmaca.

Our TB2 are using the old radar, so basicly TB2 can be upgraded. What they should do is with this radar installing Cakir on Aksungur.
