I was expecting this, it has been smooth sailing for Türkiye thus far.
One of the hardest parts was the main bulkhead and it was sorted out by using 3D printing I am guessing.
The remaining big challenge should be the alloy of turbine blades on which there is work going on. And sensor fusion can be the next big challenge.

For me, the engine and the serial production will be the most difficult part of the program.

Why the serial production, once all components are prepared?
Because serial production of the aircraft means the serial production of all of its subsytems down its bolts. And building a production line for a fighter jet will be a different territory for TAI. I'm sure they will manage it but it won't be very easy. We're accustomed to very high-standards qualitywise. We're not building things the Russian way. Just look at our first prototype. It's immaculate. And it's not even meant to fly. It's crazy.

I don't think we would have much much difficulty with sensor fusion. Because our work on the coordinated operation of drones must have formed the sofware infrastructure for this.

By the way, I guess some forum members thought I was despising our engineers. No such thing!

I think it's safer to take a proven airframe design and start developing the TFX design from it, even if it was designed in the late 80's, than to start from scratch. Moreover, designing an airframe is the simplest part of the job. The challenge is to first produce the necessary modern materials completely domestically and then use them to manufacture the body.

And I didn't mention the sensors and the software to run them.

They did F-16 serial production, so it is not that different territory for them.

If you want to see the damage TFX has caused on the other side, it is enough to read what goes through their minds. See what those who have some dirty revisionist plans on Turkiye think while we are celebrating our engineering marvel and freedom steps.

I am curious about the reactions of no jet for Turkey loby idiots in usa. Hey motherfuckers, you should change your name as "no jet engine for Turkey", but only for a few years. I am sure we will succeed in producing our own engines too.
