What about export models ? Radar and EW systems must be diffirent than our own planes right ?
making and validating different versions of hardware for export is not worth the trouble. what you would do is to limit the performance of the system through software. the hardware could be the same but the output would be defined by the variables in the software.

It is easier nowadays. Aselsan/TUSAŞ can limit output power, wide band coverage etc via software. TUSAŞ can say look it is the same hardware you are getting the same hardware.

Oh most certainly, but if the UAE was willingly to sign the Abraham accords with Israel to get their hands on the F-35's then it means they are willing to make serious concessions to get their hands on fifth gen jets
What UAE really wanted was the defence agreement with US and being labeled a "Major Non-NATO Ally", not necessarily just the F-35s. Few months ago they were labeled a "Major Defense Partner", not yet where they want to be. Both Saudi and UAE are still on track to receive it under Trump. If we can bag the Saudi participation before that decision is made, it'd be lovely.

F-35 will lose to KAAN in the near future, the USA has no other 5th-gen fighter and the US won't sell 6th-gen to anyone. Saudis don't have many choice till 2040s. J-35, Su-57 or F-35 and KAAN those are potential Saudi targets until 2040. Saudis will either buy F-35 or KAAN i think Saudi interest in KAAN is to show the US that they are not the only choice. If the US releases F-35s for Saudis, Saudis will go for it. If not KAAN looks the only way.

KAAN has better kinematics more electric production more cooling capacity radar of the KAAN has more brute force. KAAN will carry gel-based ramjet BVR missiles. I can see the F-35 losing importance after 2030.

If I were the Saudis, I would try to buy both the F-35 and Kaan if only to diversify sources and not be subject to whims of a single supplier. They can certainly afford it.

Hurray to the one who’s gonna forge this deal.

This will be our Deal of the Century.

If the Kingdom is gonna buy 100 of our Kaan, then all the other Arab states will follow (Qatar, Kuwait, UAE, Bahrein etc).

Haydi insallah.

If Saudi Arabia buys 100 KAAN then at least Block 0,1 and 2 will be financed.
The only question is whether they want to buy Block 0-1 or only Block 2 with Turkish Engines.
Block 0-1 will be equipped with F-110 129, the USA could block it in order not to prevent their own export possibilities.

US would not block a deal to the most important weapon importer.

The backside of Kaan is more or less flatt. The backside of F-35 fuselage is curved. Why? Which one is more affected by radar waves?

Even if we compare it with the most advanced software available today, the major design updates in the P1 mean that it cannot serve as a strong indicator. Additionally, whether it serves as an indicator or not would yield similar results even if the upper-rear fuselage were identical—which means it’s not a reliable indicator either. As humans, we categorize parts of an aircraft based on specific geometric sections, but this approach doesn’t work the same way in the electromagnetic spectrum. We need to consider the platform as a whole; analyzing just a part of the aircraft won’t lead to accurate conclusions.

As I mentioned, it’s still too early to make RCS estimations for the entire design. As far as we know, the ultimate goal is achieving RCS values close to the F-35. Those who set this target are the ones calculating how the entire aircraft will affect the electromagnetic signature, especially in relation to the upper-rear fuselage design.

There are "rumors" about plans to establish a production lane in Pakistan for Kaan.

I'm not leaving any links because I don't know who is the source to this rumor.

Having a strong ally in the defense industry is always beneficial. Pakistan is a perfect fit in this regard. In times of a potential war, it can serve as a backup to ensure the supply chain remains uninterrupted. Their support could be particularly valuable in critical times, especially regarding ammunition and spare parts."

Do you expect betrayal from Pakistan?
If China asks to see Kaan production or classified information they are not going to say no while being dependent on them. So, yes I do. There is no sentimentality in relationships between countries.

Pakistan is corrupt to the core. Only non-critical/sensitive parts should be produced there.

I'm totally against involving other countries in the KAAN project, only customers should be given the opportunity to produce non critical parts or assembly their ordered aircrafts.

Don't understand why some Turkish people are so eager to give away technology especially such sensitive to everyone they sympathize with.

Pakistanis may be friendly towards Türkiye, but their Goverment can't be trusted. We support their claims in Kashmir, they support China against the Uyghurs, we send them aid for the catastrophic flood in 2022, they repackage our aid and send it back for the earthquake victims, once a year military exercise, jive jive and zindabad blabla doesn't mean anything.

Not a good idea. I dont even trust that Aliyev-clown from Azerbaijan, let alone Pakistan.

If we setup a production line of KAAN in Azerbaijan, and Russia or Israel ask to see how it works, no way Aliyev is gonna forbid it.
