Thailand is planning to seal the deal for 600 light military trucks from Tata Motors for its Army.
“Atmanirbhar Bharat: The Royal Thai Army is in the process of completing its purchase of over 600 TATA LPTA military trucks. They are rugged & easy to maintain. Fit for purpose. Fit for service of the nation,” Chutintorn Sam Gongsakdi, Ambassador of Thailand to India, tweeted August 25.
Tata Motors offers these variants of the LPTA trucks: Recovery truck (5 ton-LPTA 1628, 7.5 ton-LPTA 1828) and Utility/Troop carrier (LPTA 715 4×4).
