When was the last time CHP was on government? Akp is the one hinder project of chp municipalities. It's not other way around.
I wont say that the CHP completely sucks
But after Ataturk, most of those who ruled Turkey were from the CHP until the early 2000s. My question is..... during this period of around 40 years or so..... what tf have the CHP done
At that time, the lira supposedly was strong
At that time, many countries were still undergoing R&D; in fact many of todays weapons were actually introduced in the 1990s
So you guys ruled for this long and didnt do shit. In fact, you guys are trying to catch up at a tremendous rate of only ~15years thanks to this government policies that are pro nationalisation
Even during his tenure, CHP didnt do anything productive; they just kept barking and that is all. However, that is wrong! Make changes and prove it to the ppl. The current problem is that the new generation grew under erdo wings and that is why they didnt try the CHP and dont know how bad these pricks are. That is why when they see a decline they immediateky lash at the government without looking at the reason and its not an individuals fault. The masses are just ignorant
I still remember before Erdogan became Istanbul's mayor, it was ruled by the CHP and was fqing under debt. Only when he became a mayor did istanbul actually racked up profits
Under his tenure, the GDP per capita increased from beloow 2000$ to around 7000$ rn and i would like to announce that the population boon mainly occured under his tenure as well

Iam not saying he is the perfect one to rule turkey, nor he should be its eternal ruler, nor is the AKP a good party nor does all their mega projects makes sense. In fact, iam against any system that allows one to rule for many tenures which isnt healthy (just like in turkey and germany) and i honestly believe that the AKP should lose once or twice to learn that they dont own the country. But if you wanna remove the one whom you guys proclaim as the devil, dont end up replacing the devil with SATAN himself (metaphor) because SATAN will ensure that he never leaves and maybe there might be no turkey by then (relating to HDP). If u wanna remove the devil, replace him with a better one not worse

All the above mentioned projects cost money and generate non. The canal costs money and will generate money.
Not really
When you nationalise, you reduce your imports and increase independece. You also increase the workforce, productivity, and reduce unemployment. Furthermore, less dollars leave the country. In fact, if they export, it wont only increase profits but also increase dollars entering the country. Thus, foreign reserves in the country increases and the currency becomes stronger.
These projects doesnt generate money directly (that is true) but they help the country reduce costs and generate money indirectly which is fantastic

I would like to ask though
Will the canal and the city be constructed in 6 years or will the canal only be constructed in 6 years?

Not related to the Istanbul canal I have something other to say. I see you are able to write "CHP", "AKP", "HDP", "R&D", "SATAN". I also see you don't have a problem writing a capital letter when you start a sentence but you tend to write "ataturk", "turkey", "erdo", "istanbul" with small letters in the beginning. I am not sure if this is intentional or this is just the way you write but I want to remind you that you are writing in the Turkish section in the forum and this is not very respectful towards Turks at all. Mistakes happen but your way of writing is not on mistake and I am not sure if it's because you want to provoke or just type faster but I advice you in a friendly manner to pay more attention to this in future as it could be understood wrongly and looks offensive.

We have done many crimes against Istanbul in the past that still wait to be fixed to this day yet instead of fixing past mistakes we just make the biggest of all now which will be irrewersible.

It was thanks to this glorious man that the turkish defence industry got its first boost. If i remember right, wasnt he the one who formed the SSB?

Just hope ppl can reshare this gold in turkish twitter feeds rather than some incomprehensible stuff being posted by the opposition
Honestly, the AKP has a bad promotion startegy and technique. CHP unfortunately knows how to promote its agenda to appease the masses

But in great extent accurate :), cool phrase from him
It really is. It accurately portrays the political dynamics in Turkey. Things have not changed one bit in the last 2 decades.

People are really considering to vote for this guy:

The whole demeanor of this guy is horrible. The sweat, the whiny voice, the dorky behavior and the disgusting wiping of his nose and face with the same tissue. It's like listening to a 30 min rant by a strict nanny as to why you can't have an extra cookie.

"Of course we want to improve Turkey! But only with loans from French banks because they are so republican and secular like us teehee🤭"

He’s not doing well like Nixon. But at least he has handkerchief ready to wipe and such. It would be worse if he didn’t do anything.

I don’t think expanding the canal in Russia to 200m would be done. The Istanbul strait is still there. So it could have been done anytime.

I mean it would benefit the Turkic nations too much. From Russian POV

i think its all up to the navigation movement on the Bosphorus if it so dense so the new canal will get its benefits and this area can turn into a huge logistic place
it will have long turn benefits

In other words, allow france which is one of the countries that will never love turkey ever to control it from the shadows, the first country that is competing with turkey for influence in africa and the country which is supporting greece for decades
(like they went to wars against each other in the past and in the future they will never fight on the same side)
Typical CHP thing to do
That is why i dont like the left
Just look at egypt
It is literally being controlled by France, UAE, USA, and Russia and yet no improvement at all; all what is happening is that these countries are controlling critical institutions and that is it

So? Should we just kiss france's ass?
You are angry because china puts millions of muslims into concentration camps? Then what about france? Those guys(France) destroy countries. Look at egypt, sudan, and lebanon!
I would chose china rather than france anytime
At least china is trying to break the status quo and not solidify france's colonialism
France will always one of the top enemies to turkey and muslims amd that is not me talking but actual damn history!
