And these systems are also among the first to be targeted. Being small, silent and invisible is the most important trait we could wish for these systems.

These systems will be the unsung heroes of any future battle. SOJ (Stand Off Jammer) systems allows EW systems to jam air and/or ground/surface radars without entering the enemy controlled airspace. To have functional SOJ systems on UAVs with extra long endurance in flight time gives TSK unprecedented advantage. To be able to block an airdefence system on the ground when your air assets are conducting assault missions and to block a ship’s radar and it’s airdefence systems from stand off distances without putting any human factor in jeopard, are invaluable and game changer force multipliers.
Well done Aselsan!
Don't sleep on the support pod mate, its ability to passively listen and triangulate radar location will help with SEAD/DEAD operations a lot.

If we use a support pod on each wing, as far away from each other as possible, it should make locating enemy radars more accurate, as both pods would receive radar signal at different times, albeit micro seconds of difference but it should, in theory, still help the software I think.

ILGAR, which will take its place among technologies that will provide superiority in the electromagnetic spectrum, will enable surprise attacks and uninterrupted control. Named after "rapid and sudden attack," ILGAR was developed to apply Electronic Warfare (EW) to target communication systems operating in the V/UHF and SHF (partial) frequency bands on different platforms. The system is used to provide a tactical advantage to friendly forces in the field by disrupting, delaying, or causing the transmission of false information in target frequency band communications.

Ahmet Akyol stated that the ILGAR system was developed to detect and disrupt communications between enemy aircraft and ground elements, adding, "Our ILGAR and KORAL air defense products are being exhibited here for the first time in a state ready for mass production. These systems constitute the electronic warfare layer of ÇELİKKUBBE and demonstrate the level we have reached in the field of electronic warfare in line with the vision set for us by the Turkish Armed Forces."

The system's critical features include reactive jamming against frequency-hopping signals, infrastructure for protecting friendly radio frequencies, electronic support for jamming, signal direction estimation and location finding, and electronic warfare capabilities while in motion.

KORAL, a game-changer in air defense, stands out as a ground-based mobile radar electronic warfare system that incorporates both electronic support and electronic warfare subsystems on the same platform. The system reduces the coverage areas of detected air and ground radars while applying electronic warfare in the form of deception or jamming for specific periods. With its capabilities, KORAL detects and identifies the radars of threat air and ground platforms it will target with electronic warfare, creating its own broadcast list with identification and detailed detection functions.

Ahmet Akyol stated that the air defense version of KORAL is a completely new system, capable of detecting enemy aircraft radars from hundreds of kilometers away, performing precise tracking, and making attacks more difficult by jamming or deceiving nose radars. Akyol said, "This is truly one of the few products in the world that can perform this activity over a range of hundreds of kilometers. I would like to announce here that we have now moved into the production phase."

The ASELSAN ILGAR 3-LT Electronic Warfare System, actively used in the Turkish Armed Forces inventory, was deployed in the Efes Exercise.

The system, which suppresses target communication systems in the V/UHF frequency band with reactive jamming modes, provides uninterrupted advantage to friendly forces in the tactical field.

The new ILGAR 3-LT 200 model, with its mobile attack capability, which was recently launched at SAHA EXPO 2026, is also planned to enter the inventory soon.

I know this is an exercise but this doesn't look very well made cover.

Hopefully We will see it inducted this year it will be our best leverage against Greece in Aegean since they lack any EW capability outside Rafale Spectra. It will be especially effective when Qatari Eurofighters arrive because thanks to Much better EW(Hava Soj), better AWACs(E-7T) and better kinematic performance(Supercruise) they will be much likely to get a Meteor targeting lock. Honestly I am starting to think that they will do a big ceremony for air force like thet did for Steel Dome and Roketsan Deliveries with Kızılelmas, T-70s, Gökbeys, Hava Soj, Hürküş 2 and various UAVS(Aksungur, Akıncı, TB 3, etc.) and Eurofighters if everything(Deal, Training and maintenance infrastructure) is ready by then of course.

The HAVA-SOJ project essentially encompasses a comprehensive suite of heavy structural engineering, including generator system modifications, APU overhauls, cooling infrastructure upgrades, fuselage-surface structural work involving canopies and fairings, sensor modification and integration experience, cabin interior equipment, console integration, as well as design life and certification expertise.

This demonstrates that the platform establishes the technical foundation for developing various specialized mission variants by serving as a ‘common aircraft architecture’ in the future. The capabilities gained through the HAVA-SOJ project on the Bombardier Global 6000/6500 are not limited to producing a single electronic warfare aircraft.

These significant engineering achievements have the potential to provide Türkiye with a 'nationalized common platform architecture' for special mission aircraft. Consequently, by placing a high-volume order for green fuselages (+20 units), the production of variants tailored for electronic attack, electronic intelligence (SIGINT/ELINT), airborne early warning (AEW), and even maritime patrol aircraft (MPA) missions could be targeted.

TUSAŞ could thus rise to become one of Bombardier’s most strategic integrators. Solutions in this class will not only provide a force multiplier effect within the Turkish Air Force but also capture significant export opportunities in the global market.

Absolutely, however this can be replaced by unmanned systems going forward. Still valuable experience can be employed but on smaller planes perhaps. In which case this kind of job can be referred as manned SOJ I guess.

ASELSAN is showcasing its electronic warfare solutions at the MSPO 2026 Defense Industry Fair, which opened its doors today in Poland.

▪️ASELSAN recently completed an electronic warfare export to Poland valued at approximately $500 million.

Not totally sure if there are any new systems shown
