don't know how credible the account is, so take it with a grain of salt.

"An Official:

- ANKA 3 -

-Cannot exceed the speed of sound. The new version of this, a twin-engine aircraft will exceed the speed of sound.

-We made the 2nd and 3rd and are currently producing them."

As I previously mentioned here, Anka 3 is a flying wing. If you try to go supersonic you need to heavily compromise it's structural integrity by making the wings very thin. From engineering aspect it is just not feasible.
A supersonic Anka 4 is either a very different plane with vertical stabilisers or is another KE type fighter to complement Anka 3.

Anka 2 and Anka 3 are two very different concepts. So nomenclature shouldn't be taken as something that follows previous model.

Thats because China is not really concerned about exports, they have more than enough money for their own defense industry, Turkey however needs these exports to finance future developments
If Google was satisfied with the revenue from "search" alone, it wouldn't have grown this big to have a $1.9T market cap. Countries or businesses will always try to diversify their income sources and revenue streams. In spite of being cash rich, the chinese weren't able to develop an engine and still rely on the Russians. While they might already have a know-how of most of TB2's tech, they'll leave no stone unturned to get a better understanding of what TAI got right and how does TB2 have better operational success

and the chinese exporting weapons platforms isn't necessarily about the money but soft power projection and bilateral ties

+1.

I think Anka-4 will be an interceptor drone that can operate at very high altitudes. I think that 6th generation fighters will operate at very high altitudes. Therefore, we will need an interceptor drone to operate at the same altitude to intercept them.

Please note that the 2nd TB3 prototype was parked on the tarmac at the beginning of the video.

What is coming i.e ANKA 4? ETA ''2025' :devilish: ' will be for the role of airspace defense and Air to Air i.e as you stated interceptor or better to say kind of fighter - interceptor and definitly will not look anything like flying wing ANKA 3 this is for sure since the mission requirements dictates this

The chance is high that they have collected footages from drones shot down in Ukraine, Yemen etc. and claim they (PKK) is shooting it down.

Firstly the PKK does not have missiles that go higher than manpads.

The footages of wrecks don't tell much too, they can be crashed due to mechanical failure, one ANKA was shot down by the US

Educational visits, exchanging thoughts and ideas, giving foreign visitors a tour of your countries achievements.
Doesnt always have to be business.

In the case of a Baykar visit, their HQ campus being in Istanbul tho, it's a two stop visit. ROKAF chief visited Turkey to meet with TurAF chief in Ankara and then met with TSK chief. After that they probably took a plane ride to Istanbul to visit Baykar and left for their next destination or back to Korea. It's not weird per se, but just a simple visit and photo exchange for all those hours and cost is interesting. How does ROKAF explain the cost of the flight to Istanbul to the state comptroller? Bureaucracy in Korea is not non existent.
