In the case of a Baykar visit, their HQ campus being in Istanbul tho, it's a two stop visit. ROKAF chief visited Turkey to meet with TurAF chief in Ankara and then met with TSK chief. After that they probably took a plane ride to Istanbul to visit Baykar and left for their next destination or back to Korea. It's not weird per se, but just a simple visit and photo exchange for all those hours and cost is interesting. How does ROKAF explain the cost of the flight to Istanbul to the state comptroller? Bureaucracy in Korea is not non existent.

Oddly enough, Tusaş is the address to go to for UAVs. Baykar is new and inexperienced compared to Tusaş.

They were probably directed there or went there under the influence of popular culture.

This is a really illogical way of looking at anything really, when Google started there were multiple websites doing what they were doing and yet they overtook all of them, same as SpaceX, for example, whose rockets are now indispensable for US.

How old a company is or when they started doing something is completely irrelevant to how experienced or good they are at what they do. Baykar may have started later but they became one of the leading drone manufacturers on the planet in that time. Your comment comes off as political more than anything mate.

First, I decide what I need to write and dont need your permission. Second, you make that unclear and relative claim. More precision is not hilarious. Its necessary.

Baykar started his UAV program in the 2000's. And you say TUSAS do this 20 years earlier. Is that correct?

• ANKA III, which was improved with the data obtained from the first flight and subsequently made new test flights, met the sky for the third time.
• ANKA III, which stayed in the air for 2 hours on its last flight, reached a speed of 160 knots, ascended to an altitude of 10 thousand feet, and autopilot and flight mechanics tests were carried out.
• ANKA III will be able to play a leading role in many missions with its high carrying capacity, numerous internal and external ammunition stations and low visibility.

A month ago Temel Kotil has said "ANKA-3 durmadan uçuyor" (ANKA-3 is flying non-stop) and we now learn that it has just done its third flight.

HMS Prince of Wales is coded as R09 and classified as an aircraft carrier. Royal Navy uses R prefix for its aircraft carriers (R for Regina or Rex, latin for queen and king, respectively)

If they managed to do this on one of the America-class amphibious assault ships of the US Navy, then the challenge would be considered lost.

They put in the air at less than 150 meters. I think it is very reasonable to assume same can be done from USS America. Which has a length of 257 meters. Let's see if they do it.

Being able to reliably operate cheaper and larger number of drones from lhd will bring down the cost required for reconnaissance and operations against asymmetrical targets so low it would really change the game for marines. You can use F35 but not relying on the expensive and difficult platform that it is really helps. It will also bring the barrier lower for entrance to sea borne air power.
In that sense Anadolu + TB3 is even cheaper like a quarter the cost each per unit.

I don't dispute that they can or can't. But unless they actually do it from an LHA before us, the title is still up for grabs.

First prototype took forever to land. Whatever they have done seems to have worked, this looks like it can land on Anadolu now, landing gear seems beefed up and front one is slightly longer?
