Yesterday, Baykar showed the 2nd taxi test and what caught my attention in the engine part was that AI-322F was used, as I said.🤦‍♂️
The engine used is the latest model 30F of the latest AI-322.
In other words, the engine used in Kızılelma is not AI-322F, not AI-322 30, but AI-322 30F.

Good observation. AI-322-30F is really new. (2016)

It also has higher thrust. (6600 dry thrust and 11000 wet thrust.)

Though, the main question is, the generators that would power avionics and sensor package. How many KW they can produce?

thats up to Baykar or supplier they choose. I guess Volt Teknoloji if they dont go in-house.

Engine is usually one of the biggest parts of forcing a design to look a certain way.

I really doubt Baykar is thinking about building a manned aircraft in the future. It's different that everything they know and are used to with much, much thinner margins for error, harder to make money with and would steal resources from their actual goals of an unmanned future.

She looks awesome. Look at all those protruding antennas and sensors and the LOS antenna. Got years of development ahead of it to be a true very low observable flying wing. Such a hard task at hand.

No. TAI built this prototype to test a technology, which is new to them, namely a flying wing. That prototype does not even have an IWB and they use stuff from previous ANKA / AKSUNGUR projects. There is no purpose right now to make this prototype a

A flying wing is not a technology, it's a body design. We know that TAI studied flying wings extensively already with scale models and non flying models.

Anka-3 is presented as a prototype for the future flying wing UCAV, not as a tech/capability demonstrator. Whether you call Anka-3 just a demonstrator and the elusive Anka-4 the real deal, that doesn't change my point of the true VLO flying wing UCAV being years away.

If this current design minus the telemetry gear is close to the end product, Anka-3 will not be a VLO aircraft.

You can't compare a scale model to the current prototype.
I only said that the purpose of this current prototype is per se the flying wing technology and not a prototype close to serial production.

interview about ANKA 3.

Short summary (feel free to correct me):

- The purpose of this prototype is to test the flyability (they already tested it with a smaller model)
- There are many countries, who want to develope this drone together with TAI (because it is not a well-known technology and hard to obtain)
- After this prototype, TAI will apply stealth features, like a hidden nozzle, RAM paint, etc.
- ANKA 3 will be a family of flying wing drones, there will be lighter and heavier versions, as well as a naval version (the idea of a naval version was known during the design phase)
- TAI has no problem to integrate different engines and sensors to ANKA 3 (a big plus for export)
- There will be a version with TOYGUN and AESA radar
- TAI can integrate all kind of sensors to ANKA 3, which they already have integrated to ANKA and AKSUNGUR
