Let us get few facts that are not mentioned here :
Yeah it can take of Navy variant has 280 payload capacity but i'm unsure if it can take off with 4 but 2 should be possibleLet us get few facts that are not mentioned here :
1. UAV122 is a ballistic missile. It actually loses a lot it’s speed as it approaches it‘s target. It should hit the target at a speed between 0.6 to 0.9 Mach depending on it’s angle of attack. But due to initial high speed and its small size it would be very difficult to intercept. (With an average speed of ~2.5mach it reaches it’s target under 60 seconds if it is 55km away.) Yet a good CWIS like phalanx or a RAM system should bring it down.
2. UAV122 is the air launched version of trg122 artillery rocket. This rocket has a maximum range of 35 to 40km. When launched from air these rockets travel x2 plus 10-20km ( trg230 with 70km range turns in to uav230 and have a range of 150+km. Also rampage is similar to trg300 which has a range of 110-120km. When it becomes air launched it travels 250+km)
going by this logic, UAV122 should have a max range of 80+km.
3. UAV122 is a quasi ballistic missile. It has a suppressed trajectory. It has to go up to 30-35 km altitude and then free fall to ground. So there is nothing special about it going up to an altitude of 100000ft = ~31km. That is it‘s normal behaviour.
4. What would have been more important to mention would be the very fact that this missile is now integrated to TB3, and that it can carry 3 , even 4 of them. (That is still below TB3’s max load capacity. But can it take off from TCG Anadolu with that weight?)
TB3 engine still has potential to go to higher power levels if you accept a shorter lifetime, so going from 196hp to 216 adding another 20hp may make what it may fall short of achieving today achievable in the future. Loading less fuel when the mission allows has the same effect.Yeah it can take of Navy variant has 280 payload capacity but i'm unsure if it can take off with 4 but 2 should be possible
Why not show it hit a moving small boat, emulating a strike against a kamikaze USV? Tank is such a weird choice for a ship based UAV target.
The Bayraktar Kalkan DİHA, launched from a warship, dropped its Skydagger-7 FPV drone in mid-air and struck a tank with pinpoint accuracy.
Is it just me or does it look like it has a thermobaric warhead? Explosion comes a second after impact.
Why does it still have that exposed nozzleIt has been announced that Türkiye's deep strike UAV ANKA III has a range of 750+ km!

As far as i heard it will stay soMost likely prototype still. Afaik serial production version is planned for end of this year.
I think because from the ground the engine is covered and thats enough for now maybe.Maybe it doesn't matter with that ukrainian engine.
Why not on engines or will they buy the blueprints for one and call it theirs?Baykar and Safran signed a MoU for cooperation on avionics and electronics.
Probably for stuff that will go into the European market. Why not on engines or will they buy the blueprints for one and call it theirs?
So you believe they pulled it off?If MSB Arge could pull off a larger engine
Undecided, it is like a 10% chance that they have nailed major aspects of the engine and need to work on some other aspects. Even if they are on the right path it can take decades more for something to come out as they don't have the required credentials for a capable design house and production capabilities. So at some point I guess when the TF35k engine becomes a reality this project will be dropped or be turned into a ship engine or power generator turbine project. Also their turboshaft engine weight seems excessive speaking off the top of my head. As I said before under favorable conditions like when money and focus poured on any project and with some luck things can happen, I can't rule that out.So you believe they pulled it off?
