I guess English is not everyone's 1st language on this forum, but laying mines is different than launching them on artillery cannons, like launching a mine 40kms away to attack tanks. Tb2s are know for great target practice as demonstrated by recent events of getting shot down which was deleted on another thread by admin or EW systems maybe Ukraine perhaps has something similar to drones like su-70, grom or su-75 drones they will field to launch weapons further away?

The Russians use this nuclear power plant as a power source for electronic warfare. And they can put pressure on the field with very high powers. So much so that they have the capacity to obscure even the Turkish navy in the Black Sea. (I personally heard this from @TayfunOzberk) Ukraine remains a snack for them besides the Turkish Navy.
Useless to compare Ukraine against Russian Federation. Today Ukraine has just mere lethal weapon: sanctions of western world. Let's see if Putin could embrace sanctions . The end of Ukraine will cause the end of Russian economy with blood bath.

Oh no not Apple won't sell its stocks to Russia as sanctions :eek:the horrors. Meanwhile lavrov is getting China and India replace swift and have plenty of gas line projects other than NS2 or arctic oil projects. What are sanctions going to do in order to stop the inevitable?

The Russians are no longer as weak as you think. Because the WEST wants to bury the hydrocarbon industry with "green energy". This bothers the Saudis the most, as well as energy giants such as Iraq and Russia. If the Russians come to an agreement with OPEC and cut oil production, the Americans will not even be able to breathe.

The world is changing

Currently There are new emerging markets in the world such as Africa and and far Asia . Big tech companies will be able to survive without Russia however i cant imagine how could live Russian ladies without German automobiles, US phones, Italian shoes and french perfume. Incase of western sanctions , first Russian female voters would get rid of Putin.

WW1 destroyed Russian empire, Afghan war destroyed USSR, finally Ukrainian war will cause collapse of Putin regime.

Mighty USSR weren't able to defeat Afghan village warriors now Russia standing against entire world.

If deterrence fail in Ukraine, deterrence in Asia (Taiwan) will fail too, just saying. All US enemies are watching their response very carefully.

Historically, appeasement ended up starting war instead of avoiding it.

thats not a problem https://www.russiadefence.net/f8-russia they were once reliant on some products like from the french making their own infrared detection systems that are now on par with BAE as one example. The proposed sanctions have made me laugh because their businesses are not going to be in the west anymore.

Thats like comparing how badly the poles have kicked turkish/ukrainian crimean ass in the battle of Vienne or Hodow. The kill count for afghans was a little higher if we compare for example the battle of hill 3234, etc.. The west seems to be collapsing so who will you beg for next after BRICS takes over? Every coupe from Syria, Venezuela, Ukraine and kazakhstan has ended up as a fuck up while at the same time their trades increases in Asia. They are even crying about Russia's involvement in the Arctic but are not doing anything to prevent it.

Sullivan said what could be the reason for the Russian invasion of Ukraine

The White House does not rule out that the Russian Federation will decide to invade the territory of Ukraine.

National Security Adviser to the President of the United States Jake Sullivan believes that an attempted coup in Ukraine could become a pretext for the invasion of the Russian Federation into the territory of Ukraine. On Thursday, January 13, he stated during a briefing at the White House.

He noted that Russia could come up with an excuse to invade Ukraine, including sabotage and information operations.

"Our intelligence community is processing information that Russia is working to fabricate a pretext for an invasion, including sabotage and information operations, accusing Ukraine of preparing an attack on Russian forces in eastern Ukraine. We saw this in 2014," he said.

Recall, a telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov and the head of the Pentagon, Lloyd Austin. The head of the Pentagon assured of the unwavering support of Ukraine from the United States.

The why is Russia so afraid of Ukraine? Syria is allowed to capture their lost territories with help of Russia, but when Ukraine wants the Donbass back, Russia is holding their dress.

Why is it Russia's concern that Ukrain reconquer the Donbass?

From Smolensk? Не смешите мои тапочки. They'd end up screwing over half of Belarus and much of the Baltics and Ukraine before reaching the Turkish Navy in the Black Sea if it's as powerful as you claim.

it seems the seperatists are enough to hold off the ukrainian army, if they need to send their military there has to be a good reason which will be overkill. I wonder where the mighty ukrainian army was when they so called took Crimea, I assure you that if it was another eastern european country they did this to they would fight even with odds against them.

I am assuming you have Russia mixed up with Turkey?(found some armenian image sharing where the parts of the TB2 come from,no idea if this forum ran into that shitpost before) please name which weapons S-400s, S-500, S-550, A-235, ,t-14 armatas, coalition howitzers, smerch, tornado MRLS, avangard, zircon, poseidon, burevestnik, sukhois and migs, peresvet, EWs, infrared and radar systems, Yasen class subs, corvettes, frigates, etc are exclussively and domestically produced in their country.

How about we make this more fun and you start including some german or NATO military weapons, where i can go compare if Russias own would exceed it or not? like what can NATO use to assist ukriane with or what weapons they have to counter Russias invading army? I am well informed by having a fetish for military weapons and this country strikes my fancy.

Not gonna happen,China buys enough oil and gas from Russia to keep the economy at a certain level.
There is also the defence industry.
Btw,its easy to bypass sanctions via shell companies.

No, I have Russia mixed up with Russia: https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/...ssian-chemical-weapons-facilities-on-its-soil

And that's just a start.

Armenians tried to shit on Turkish drone tech by yelling about Wescam producing cameras for TB-2s...which wasn't even true by the time they posted that since Canada put an embargo on Turkey regarding operations against YPG.

Putin just aims destabilizing Ukraine and internal political crisis. Just such an environment could make him political coup in Ukraine. Unfortunately Ukrainian people really don't care about war and what Putin does.

Here people works, earns money, travel Europe visa free for shopping which irritates resident of Russian Federation.

Around me every person attends regularly Germany, Italy, Portugal, Greece thanks to Visa free regime and Ukrainian economy;)

No worries! Ukrainian people don't give up standing against Soviet lifestyle.

The head of the National Security and Defense Council announced "Putin's plans" for Ukraine

Russia is trying to destabilize Ukraine from within, says Danilov

The Russian president wants to destroy Ukraine and recreate the Soviet empire, Danilov believes.

Russian President Vladimir Putin wants to destroy Ukraine as a state, says the head of the National Security and Defense Council Alexei Danilov. What Putin is planning, according to Danilov, writes UP.

"Let's start from the very beginning. What is Putin's plan? It's quite simple, we talk about it publicly - it's the destruction of us as a state," says Danilov.

The Minsk agreements, which were signed, according to the head of the National Security and Defense Council, at gunpoint, cannot be applied exactly in the form in which they are.

"What is Putin's plan today? Internal destabilization in our country. If only internal destabilization occurs, then he will be able to use this destabilization in order to do his dirty work. Period. If there is no internal destabilization, it will be much more difficult to carry out those tasks that they have set for themselves," Danilov says.

He also believes that Putin has a plan for the reconstruction of the Soviet empire, which is impossible without Ukraine.

"What do we see today? What concerns political destabilization precisely at the expense of forces affiliated with the Russian Federation after the closure of TV channels, after certain of our preventive procedures, it is difficult for them to do this," the head of the National Security and Defense Council says.

At the same time, the Russian Federation still has an energy direction, Danilov believes.

"What is happening with the energy in the world is not only in our country. This is a rather multifaceted problem. Why? Because here is COVID, here is China, here is Taiwan, here is India, there are a lot of processes here," he thinks.

Sea Breeze-2022 exercises will be amended

TEXT: ELENA KACHUROVSKAYA, January 14, 2022, 11:06

Sea Breeze exercises in the Black Sea

When writing the script for this year's exercises, current threats were taken into account. The viability of amphibious operations in coastal areas, river and sea will be strengthened.

During the Ukrainian-American exercises Sea Breeze in 2022, the marine component will be strengthened, and an amphibious component will be introduced - instead of the land component, which was paid much attention during last year's exercises. This was reported by the press service of the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, summing up the work of the conference on planning the exercises Sea Breeze-2022.

It is noted that they have already confirmed their participation in the naval component of the exercises and have decided on the participants, forces and means of the United States, Great Britain, Bulgaria, Romania, Georgia and other states. The conference participants also distributed these forces into tactical groups that will be involved in certain areas of the exercises in the northwestern part of the Black Sea.

In addition, a draft exercise scenario has been developed, the areas for Sea Breeze-2022 and an indicative list of training activities planned during the exercise have been agreed.

Another feature of the international exercises this year will be that an amphibious component will appear instead of a land component.

"Moreover, the essence is not in changing the name, but in the structure of the exercise. What is the purpose of this? The fact is that the Ukrainian Marine Corps seeks to develop its capacity in performing precisely amphibious operations in coastal areas, river and sea. That is, a whole range of measures is being introduced regarding directly to the Marine Corps, and therefore the structure of the exercises is “tailored” to this concept,” said Karim Fedorov, officer of the planning group for the amphibious component of the Ukrainian-American exercises.

According to him, the participants of the conference agreed on the implementation of a whole range of measures to prepare the Marine Corps units in preparation for the exercises. In particular, we are talking about the preparation of the battalion headquarters, which will participate in Sea Breeze-2022 from the Ukrainian side, as well as the implementation of other tasks in accordance with the plan and future action plan of the units.
630_360_1624363343-229.jpg

Fedorov noted that the scenario of the exercise involves focusing on the implementation of the tasks of the amphibious component on land. That is, the forces and means of the Ukrainian Navy and the armed forces of the partner countries will be aimed at supporting the operation, which will take place on land.

As of January 13, participation in the amphibious component of the US Marine Corps, a unit of the Georgian Armed Forces and a unit of the peacekeeping battalion of the armed forces of Moldova was approved. The full list of participants will be known at the final conference.

The exercises this year will be held in the classical version, that is, with the development of practical actions at sea, on land, in the air and under water. In total, more than 60 countries and international organizations received invitations to participate in the exercises.

I think it's good that Ukrainians can travel to EU and come back home, bring back that freedom and keep it going, make it harder for those who're not subject to Ukranien government to travel abroad. If those in Donbass wants to travel freely make it only possible through airports under Ukrainian governments control.

All flights from Donbass (if there are any) should pitstop in an airport under Ukrainian governments control.

Guarantees of non-entry is not enough

2700995.jpeg

The Russian Foreign Ministry called "unacceptable" possible "bilateral agreements with the Americans and the British."

Russia will not have enough guarantees that Ukraine will not join NATO. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on Friday, January 13.

“Even if Ukraine remains outside NATO, there may be bilateral agreements with the Americans and the British... This is also unacceptable to us. Now the European Union has also poured in. They are actively promoting the direction of their military mission to Ukraine. and more troops are being concentrated... An unusually large number. But the West is not worried about this," Lavrov said.

The head of the Russian Foreign Ministry claims that alleged military assistance from the West creates "a temptation" for Ukraine to resolve the issue of Donbass by force.

"The participation of Western instructors in the conflict in the Donbass will be the crossing of all" red lines "and mean a direct clash between the Russian people and the NATO military," Lavrov says.

As is known, a number of talks between Western countries and Russia on security guarantees took place this week. The Kremlin considers these negotiations unsuccessful.
