Afghan-Pakistani border clashes continue even with Taliban takeover.

Shows how deeply they hate each other.

They are gonna blame the Jews, Hindus, ahmadiya, pashtuns and balochis for this
They can blame anyone they want but in the end they are gonna fight and ironically Pakistanis tried for decades to turn Afghanistan to a buffer state only forthemselves become an indian buffer state against the talibs .

Afghans would keep dying cause of their wishful dreams. They refuse to accept the border, give refuge to TTP.
One airstrike wasn't enough, PAF should carpet bomb the border area.

If and when Pakistan wants to,the Taliban have no chance.
Why go the conventional route when we can easily exploit the ethnic fault lines in Afg.

Tajiks and Uzbeks hate the Pashtun supremacy over them. How I know? I am from an Uzbek immigrant family from Afg to Pak in communist era. And that hate hasnt gone down, its festered.

70 years have taught Pakistan that Afghanistan wouldn't accept the Durand line ( Pak -Afghan international border ). We should establish a buffer zone Turkiye style and erode the Talib strength by funding Uzbeks and Tajiks.

Unlike Yanks and Russians, we know the area and are here to stay.

Pakistan tried that with the TTP(support),it didnt work.
But i still cant understand the hate between both countries.
I dont think either country would work with Pakistan,Tajik for their closeness with Iran and Uzbeks for Pakistan's previous support to the Talibans via the TTP..

Pakistan never supported TTP. TTP was formed as a retaliation against American drone strikes in FATA ( Pakistan's former tribal area ), Pakistani military operations etc. And the funding to TTP comes from the East of Pakistan ifykwim.

The hate between Pakistan and Afghanistan has its roots way back in past since the times of Afghan Sikh Wars when Afghans lost the entire Pashtun area that is part of Pakistan. Later British demarcated the border officially with the kingdom of Afghanistan ( Durand line ). After the partition of Subcontinent, since the day 1 Afghans haven't recognised the border and for most part state never implemented border laws cause of the terrain and culture.

But yes to this day Afghan Ministers call the border "imaginary" and host Anti Pak TTP and affiliated factions. Along with many Baloch Militant groups. Its like a tumor which Pakistan can't get rid of.

Controlling Afghanistan is very easy but our government and Establishment has always been very lighthanded. Close the border crossings, seal the border and send back millions of Afghan refugees and keep striking terror hubs in Afghanistan and see the Taliban squeal.

Now that I am writing all this, I think it was @Merzifonlu. who said that Pakistan Afghanistan and Iran fell at the same time and would rise together if they did. Which is very true. Unfortunately it looks like a long arduous slog to me.

Yes, I have said this in the past. Now I am raising the stakes and saying that their collapse will come around 2028!

Bigotry, hatred, mismanagement and deep-rooted corruption will end the statehood of the Iranian state firstly and then the Pakistani state.

The state of Afghanistan has been in that category for a long time. There is an Afghan state on paper, but in reality, there is no such state.

Pakistan does not have the will nor capability to engage in a conflict in Afghanistan. Their leadership and colonial military are inherently cowards, corrupt and only seeking to exploit the people of Pakistan for their own person interests. All which is needed is a small push from Afghanistan and the people of Pakistan will crucify their leaders and colonial military themselves. Only then can the region prosper.

The region will prosper only when Afghans start to act as civilised humans and not like animals ran from a zoo. Otherwise Afghans would keep dying in airstrikes and border skirmishes.

I remember when Kaptajn was around he'd say PAF were in need of combat helicopters to deal with insurgents, all I can say is that the border with Afghanistan is freaking long and difficult to control. Atak helicopters would have been a great addition, but imo Pakistan needs 200-300 TB2 and some MALE ones for intelligence gathering. Plus some solid constructions to enforce border control. I think cleaning your own side from elements that can attack you is the wise choice.
