It is such weird that because russian soldier unintentionally destroyed all 3G and 4G tower of ukrainian then they cannot use their encrypted com syst. Because you will need to capture or hijack ukrianian telco operator to use their system. You cannot simply capture the tower and use it because you will need entire system not only the tower or bts it self.

Why russian just do not deploy their full system on the ground just like what for example indonesia hariff system does.

Visually confirmed loss of MBT is around 148 units, 91 AFV, 135 IFV, 52 APC , 5 MRAP, 35 IMV, 37 engineering vehicles, 8 communication and command sites, 24 towed artillery, 22 SPH, 19 MLRS and other system.

Those stuff is more than enough to equipped a full sized armored division of around 10,000 personnel . In which means their losses in term of personnel should be hovered around that's number or maybe more.

The US doing their war in Nam for almost Ten years and losing 50,000 personnel, and they already crying it loud for human resource they lose. Russian lose fifth of the number only in dozen days of fighting in direct neighbor country close to them in which logistic should be no more issue compared to US in which fighting overseas and still giving material support elsewhere like to Israel and other of her allies.

One message that was forwarded multiple times originated on the Chinese microblogging site Weibo and was translated into both English and Indonesian.

It used an analogy to explain why Russia had invade Ukraine, likening Moscow to a long-suffering husband who allowed his ungrateful wife – Kyiv – to keep the children after she asked for a divorce. He even paid off her debts. But the ex-wife went on to have a dalliance with the village bully – the United States in this analogy – and befriended a group of prostitutes (US allies) and besmirched her ex-husband’s name. The man lost his patience and demanded the return of one child (Russia annexed Crimea from Ukraine in 2014), but the wife also began treating other children badly, forcing the man to confront her.

LMAO

Mainland try to influence Indonesian public opinion.

Now this is just sad... 😔

Related to this last point, a final dimension that must be considered is the extent of Russian public diplomacy in Indonesia. Surveys have previously shown that Indonesians have largely ambivalent to negative views of Russia. But since 2013, Russia has used the state-funded Russia Beyond the Headlines (RBTH) Indonesia website and its popular Twitter, Instagram and Facebook accounts to improve public perceptions of the country, and portray it as non-communist and pro-Islam. Similarly, it has funded a Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Jakarta.

One vital aspect of Russia’s soft power efforts has involved offering scholarships to study in Russia, and support for Russian Studies programs in universities in Jakarta and Bandung. Tellingly, the scholar involved in the heated exchange with Ukrainian Ambassador Vasyl Hamianin is involved in the Universitas Indonesia (UI) Russia Studies program and graduated from a Russian university. It was a similar story with another UI scholar, whose article repeated Russian propaganda word-for-word. Lecturer Sari Gumilang described the invasion as a “military operation” (in line with the official narrative of the Russian government that there is no war in Ukraine) aimed at “demilitarization and de-Nazification” (which has been debunked by many prominent scholars).

but they failed to gain such influence in higher ups and especially the educated portion of our population with critical thinking ability that held decision making position.

in all honesty, this was meant to be responsibility for our military or geopolitical content creator in either facebook, twitter cesspool and youtube to always spread counter content/grassroot movement to remind large part of our population, that we should always prioritizing to seek or choose side that will benefit indonesia own agenda in the long run.

Well, with that said, we don't have to worry about this issue from China because... Thanks to Soeharto, China will never succeed on this kind of activities in Indonesia to spread their influence to our grassroots level.

Not entirely, some of their narrative still get swallowed.
