I know it may come as suspicious to some members that my first thread is on such a controversial topic, but I am a long time lurker and I thought I could only get some answers here where there are a lot of knowledeagble enthusiasts.
I recently came up on his site by chance (not giving the full address just in case) and read a lot of posts. And my mind was blown. So he sounds like a very seasoned guy, well connected in defence industry and has some deep knowledge in especially naval / submarine matters. However, as someone who takes pride in recent developments in our defence industry, some of the stuff he writes was like a punch in the guts. For example, he posts about how some national/indigineous projects are not national at all, with some sources attached which I am unsure how reliable those are. I'll give just one example so the severity of the claims can be understood: Akya, apparently, is based on a 70s German torpedo.
Tbh. some stuff is hard to swallow and I felt depressed an heartbroken after reading for a while. Thus I want to know how reliable his writings are, does anyone have any intel on him or read his stuff?
He delves very deep into some topics that I feel like he can not be a full-on hoax. On the other hand there are some suspicious details such as:
- Hates Germans, and thinks our defence sector is permeated by them (Germans were not historically or today our enemies, and general public does not have a resentment against them. Are they even as remotely influential, say as Usa? This strikes me as odd tbh, like those lunatics obsessed with Iran)
- Old / Ottoman Turkish style of his writing
- His disdain for Odtu, and all the san companies. (Combined with above, maybe a hardcore religious guy who simply dislikes the type of students and workers in those companies)

Anyway, this is all I guess. Anybody have something to share?

It sure looks like you're this uskudar.biz cause if not,why would you dedicate a thread to this guy?
Why not ask these questions in the appropriate sections?

Everyone has their beginnings somewhere. Even domestic designs of FPB were in the past (70’s) sold to German shipyard as TSK had no trust the Turks could build it.

I assure you there is no way I can be, apparently the guy has been writing for 25 years or so. I made a few google searches, nothing much came out of it, except he has a topic on eksisozluk, which means he must be somewhat known to defence enthusiasts. So this was the best place I could ask about him. I did realize it could be controversial, if this is not appropriate it's ok if you move it to one of those threads. The thing is it will be buried there, maybe if I remove the name from the title it could be ok?

It's also interesting that some guy would just keep writing and writing on Turkish Defence issues on some obscure part of the internet for 25 years. That in itself should be interesting, no? Don't get me wrong, I am not a fan or anything, I am just wishing to see him proven wrong/discredited on some of his claims, for my own peace of mind, because some of the things I read were pretty depressing.

I'm sure you know that there are many so called experts/specialists/professionals on the internet with all kinds of claims.
What we do is simple, our media team checks the authenticity of the news/claims shared on the many sites/twitter accounts/youtube etc.
If our profesionals find them to be genuine we invite them to our forum and give them a ''Verified'' tag(blue wink next to the name).
Examples: @Bogeyman ,@JATOSINT @Oryx

This website has been visited by defense industry enthusiasts for many years. Some of his articles are sometimes worth reading and sometimes open to discussion. Some of his claims were even denied by military personnels

And i can add this;
The author of uskudar.biz (now if i remember correctly he continues from another domain name and concluded the uskudar.biz) is a professional for sure, we can see he had a history either in navy (from taskizak more likely) or maybe armerkom (the latter can be judged from some open source tools and other softwares he knows, uses or shows examples).

But it also seems he left there before reaching to retirement. His articles are valuable but some contains some of his personal claims on certain subjects.

I read his writeups several times, I cannot point to paricular highlights but everyone has slightly different takes on the world they interact with and everyone"s interaction has relatively limited coverage. I suggest people take words as opinions of people rather than some verified truth.
