I am still holding the hope that one of these days TAI will publish its own small helicopter design and stop posting the Mosquito. I will make them one if they ask me.

They are taking us for fools these people. We have official videos from azmod where CATS is employed against Armenians..Nice! Domestic IR sensor works good. Day camera is also doing great but I think the colors seem a bit faded. Laser designator did perfect job and MaM-L found the target accurately. In some part of the footage, I suppose The CATS zoom in on the moon to show how advanced zoom features It has. Congrats Aselsan !
Colors can always be cranked up in software. Image quality looks good enough for any purpose we want.Nice! Domestic IR sensor works good. With current Rotax 912 100-hp engine, TB2 still can carry 4 MAM-L but with less internal fuel. With Tei PG115 115-hp engine, it can definitely carry 4 that bombs without sacrificing its internal fuel and loiter time.
Saw a picture with 4 mam l on a Ukrainian TB2 a while ago and now we have the same load out on turkish also.
In an interview Prof Aksit , the MD of TEI had said that the PG115 had gone through many hours of use in real life and that it was a secret engine program. Therefore could not elaborate on it.I think we are missing a point here: We haven't heard anything about TB2 being abandoned for the sake of TB3. While a TB3 will be sporting a PD170 engine TB2 can continue production with PG115; if this engine is ready for the job. Only thing we don't really know is if PG115 is ready to be produced outside prototype. I think PG115 can not be wasted with all the effort put into it.
Looks like this time around they kept the secret secret for real.In an interview Prof Aksit , the MD of TEI had said that the PG115 had gone through many hours of use in real life and that it was a secret engine program. Therefore could not elaborate on it.
This engine was probably produced and used on the Heron UAV’s that airforce has in it’s inventory.
PD220 and 170 are actually identical. In my imagin, TB3 will not be another look-like Anka-S. Rather than that, it is a scale-up version of TB2 with Tei PD170 engine, a bubble head for C-Tech SatCom On-The-Move system. The CATS is relocated to the front of landing gear and under a lengthen nose, leave the belly space for SAR or EO or EW pod. All 3 landing gears are retractable into the body and wing roots. And one more thing, it will be designed with the Tei PD220 engine in mind for the mid-life upgrade in future.
It wasn't that secret, pg-115 was on turkish herons.Looks like this time around they kept the secret secret for real.
No it wasn't. and the fact that it has over 15.000 hours of flight time was also know but as Mr Matmut Akşit stated specs are kept secret and the future plans about it is unknown to public. Like, how come it is not being used for TB2, curious. It wasn't that secret, pg-115 was on turkish herons.
