On contrary, this is absolutely necessary. Okay, what is really needed for Pakistan is a professional army focused solely on military service and cleared of corrupt elements. However, this army will also need smart&high firepower. Pakistan must be politically stable or she will be a problem for everyone, including India.
Meh... I don't think a bunch of Attack helicopters will save a Country from internal conflict... In the end, the Turkish MIC will do whatever it wants.
I'm just not a fan of selling them such things right now.

I agree attack helicopters are not strategic assets. Should we sell Anka-3 we can debate this but selling Atak-2 should be no problem.

With TAI selecting a rear output gas turbine engine, I think it's safe to assume that the current 10ton utility helicopter design will change dramatically due to it.

May see a configuration similar to French super puma,

The 10T heli from Turkey looks like a drumstick so not the best looking heli either :D Just look at a Gokbey picture before getting in the cockpit problem solved

I believe temporarily, in overall the end user is not quite pleasant with the Ukrainian engines, and the attitude of Ukraine on certain matters, but better than nothing case applies.
But now we are changing the design because of selected engine. So does it mean structurally TS-3000 would be similar to Ukrainian engine rather than western counterparts?

Actually vice-versa. TS-3000 is preffered and will be similar to western engines (front-output) to simple engine overhauls. And it is also unclear if Ukrainians may supply the engines at the desired rates, even themselves are unsure about it and not providing any guarantees.

That is so true, Ukrainians said after 14th engine if I remember correctly, they couldnt give any guarantee for the engine supply. However, we need hundreds of 10t helos. We must face this: Sooner or later, we will have Istanbul earthquake, that is a fact. That is the biggest threat of our national security, far more dangerous than any of our neighbors, just remember the 6 feb, we lost thousands of our people in a blink of an eye. Millions of people will be in need of help those who survives the earthquake. We cant rely on Ukraine and we have no choice to speed up our 10t with 3 TS1400 configuration.

The Ukrainian engine is fundamentally different(rear output) from a Western engine so either TEI will design TS-3000 according to that or the helicopter will see a sizeable (doable but will still be a headache) redesign. Anyway TAI designed a transmission for a Soviet engine in a short amount of time so it won't be a life or death issue even if they end up designing it from scratch.

TS3000 can not be operational in 6-7 years. Those who has little clue about aviation knows that. Just certification of human carrying engine might last 2-3 years. Also a new transmission has to be designed for TS3000 anyway. But developing a transmission for 3 TS1400 engines could take shorter time and cheaper than waiting for TS3000 engine PLUS transmission

But then will there be again design change of helicopter after TS-3000 is developed?

That is only if TS3000 will really take that long to make when actually there may be opportunities and methods to shorten the timeline. Still making a three engine configuration is a good capability to have as there may be a necessity in the future for a trio of TS3000 to sing a song.

On the Gendarmerie helicopter I have noticed additional elements along the tail boom. One at 11 o'clock position, one at 7 o'clock position and seemingly one at 1 o'clock position. Are these lightning catcher elements or what? They seem to be in the way of the rotor's slipstream, I hope they are well placed to not interfere with aerodynamics.

Is that thing (in the red circle) for rescue missions, something like a hook mechanism?
