Does that mean that Turkey truly leased the Al-Khums base?Anadolu Agency is a reliable source.

It seems soDoes that mean that Turkey truly leased the Al-Khums base?
No,it doesnt.Does that mean that Turkey truly leased the Al-Khums base?

Probably a visit for a couple of days(weeks) or take some supplies.
Our ships are patrolling Libyan waters because of some deal they made with the GNA.
In this period that s stupid to admit any legally lease, this word had a colour of colonial era.Just need to do but not admit. To clarify, Al-Khums is not a naval base, but an underequipped yet kinda large civillian port, personalized in bulk, container and car carriers. Maybe they got some basing rights, but to make it a base where navy ships could deploy, refuel and rearm, there would need to be some investment on infrastructure.
As it's a civilian port with no seperate facilities, I still don't think the part about it being leased basically indefinitely is correct, but there seems to be something, yes.

This was refuted.
If we sit down and think a little logically, it would be unwise to think that the TAF would leave its soldiers in Libya alone with its prehistoric Hawk batteries. Especially when there are more modern air defense systems at hand. This was the case in Syria. It should be the same in Libya. No matter what official statements say, this reality will not change. Because mistakes to be made here will be paid with the lives of Turkish soldiers on the field. This was refuted.

Yeah . Especially after it was destroyed by the UAE in the strike of 2020To be fair, putting Hisar O’s instead of these Hawk’s would not be a bad idea. These old relics from the 60´s should have been scrapped a long time ago anyway.
To be honest . I don't think hisar will do better than hawk . It's still new system that never been tested in real war situationIf we sit down and think a little logically, it would be unwise to think that the TAF would leave its soldiers in Libya alone with its prehistoric Hawk batteries. Yes, but tbh that sat image doesn't really confirm them being Hisars. Though I agree Libya would be the ideal place to test the Hisar complex. To be fair, putting Hisar O’s instead of these Hawk’s would not be a bad idea. And now a Meko, specifically a Barbaros class. well well well.
It's like claiming that the Altay tank is worse than the m60s in the inventory.Even if it is a new product, I find your statement wrong. No export product they sell to us can be better than the ones we produce for our own army.To be honest . Not necessarily but comparing a 50 year old product to a 2020 model one will bring out a lopsided comparison, no matter which product. Korkut was tested in Libya, we can expect the same for Hisar. But i don't think that sat image is proof. No export product they sell to us can be better than the ones we produce for our own army.
Now two frigates anchored in Libya. Interesting development
