Greeks are shouting at deaf ears. What they are claiming has no substance.
90% of their "complaints" and "warnings" are nothing but fearmongering and xenophobic bullshit. Besides, I bet this is because they got fuck all from their talks with Macron, as Greek media reported Macron refused to veto a potential sale.

And Greeks better get used to it. With US becoming more unreliable day by day, Europe will start thawing their relationship with us. They have very little to offer (other than being a nuisance for us) while we bring one of the largest and most experience militaries around to the table, and then as a cherry on top, we bring our military industrial capabilities, both in design and production.

As we were speculating Gökhan, I came across this.

Greece Sounds Alarm: Türkiye Accused of Reverse Engineering METEOR Missile to Build Its Own GÖKHAN

Edit: admin team, if you feel this post will create political arguments, please delete or move to çay bahçesi.
We don't even have meteor, back in the days they were also claiming we reverse engineered something to made atmaca, greece is a country that can't even build a MRAP for Its own landforce lol.

Hybrid rocket technology from DeltaV made its way to the military industry. This is a big development. As far as I know, Turkiye is the first country to use hybrid rockets for military purposes.

Some highlights:

-Larger rocket motor (Near 300 mm arty rockets in size) combined with hybrid rocket propulsion will be a significant leap from the range regime of GLSDB
-TOLUN IIR should be backwards (terminologically and quite literally) compatible too but we might have to put some sort of aerodynamic cap to protect the seeker
-GÖKTAN is implied as a system rather than a munition so I see different payloads being integrated too in future.

Its the ''tiny shit'' with better capabilities that makes the difference.
1,5 m diameter 15-20 length,what you gonna do with that one,attack the US,Canada,Mexico,China etc?

Why others have those?!
Alot smaller countries, poorer stupid low iq than us and they have them even funny North korea ane Houthis have big missiles why Turkiye since 27 years testing 10 meter 600mm missiles .
Big missiles are needed for great war when u need to hit something 2000km away or with heavy warhead of 8 ton anti bunker missile / Anti AC. Turkiye need them more than ever since airforce is weak and small same as greece airforce by numbers and weaker smalller fleet than Saudis , Israeli , Egypt . This never happened in our history . To be so weak than 4 of our regional opponents .

And what did the houthi achieve with those missile?
Nothing,to big easy to shoot down which Israel/US did.
North-Korea tested a couple and thats it.

Greece,Israel are close,no problem with what we already have.
Saudis and Egypt, why do we need to attack them?

The only Air force of those mentioned able to defeat us in the air is the Israeli Air force but a war is not fought with only the Air force.
Our navy beats all the countries mentioned and if in a war against an enemy with nukes we will get them from Pakistan as offered many times.
So,Israel wouldnt dare using nukes.
You seem to forget that Israeli territory is small and in range of our missile,we could flatten Israel if needed.
You underestimate the Turkish Armed Forces and dont panic so much,be cool no worries.

Main idea behind this project is to be able fire a bomb like Tolun to a distance where a plane would normally carry it.

Hence without endangering your plane and it’s pilot, you are delivering more economically a potent weapon, hundreds of kilometres away, at a speed that far exceeds any plane’s.

We don’t know the exact details of this hybrid fuelled rocket. It looks like a 280mm rocket they used to reach 103 km altitude. These sounding rockets can travel in excess of 7 Mach speeds. But if an IIR seeker is to be used, rocket’s speed or seeker’s cover may have to be tamed to accommodate it.
Also the newer fuel they use is claimed to burn 3 times faster, giving a better thrust factor. We don’t know if they used this fuel.
As these Tolun munition itself is designed to glide to target, it has to be released at an altitude that would suit Tolun’s flight profile.
Whether these important details will ever be made public is a question not easily answered. However, the fact remains that this rocket’s introduction in to the equation improves our hand drastically to a game changer position.

This is potentially a big leap of improvement over the Boeing-Saab GLSDB missile.

Finally! We are to have TRG300 missiles’ air launched version. Initially being integrated to the UCAVs. Hopefully F16s will also be fitted with them

These are the most potent artillery rockets we have. They have a range of 110 to 130km when launched from ground. Tak8ng TRG230 as an example, when air launched, the TRG 300 should have a range in excess of 250km.

This nullifies Greece’s prospective Rampage purchase attempt.

Advantages of Gökhan with Tolun SDB

The Gökhan rocket system combined with the Tolun Small Diameter Bomb (SDB) is a cost-effective, flexible, and precise solution for both air and ground-based attacks. Here are its key advantages:

1. Long Range with a Low-Cost Booster

  • Reaches 100–150 km (potentially up to 200 km with a more powerful booster).
  • A cheaper alternative to expensive cruise missiles like ATACMS or SOM-J.
  • Can strike deep behind enemy lines without relying on fighter jets or high-cost missiles.

Result: Long-range precision strikes at a fraction of the cost of ballistic or cruise missiles.

2. Flexible Deployment – Air & Ground Launch Capabilities

  • Can be launched from fighter jets, drones, or ground-based launchers.
  • No need for an airborne release (unlike conventional glide bombs).
  • Compatible with mobile launch systems, offering high operational flexibility.

Result: It can function as both drone or jet weaponry and as a ground-launched artillery alternative.

3. Precision Targeting with Advanced Guidance Systems

  • GPS/INS + optional laser, infrared, or radar guidance.
  • Extremely high accuracy (CEP <10m).
  • Ideal for high-value targets like air defense systems, radar stations, ammunition depots, and command centers.

Result: Allows surgical strikes with minimal collateral damage.

4. Cost-Effective Alternative to Expensive Missiles

  • Much cheaper than ATACMS ($2M).
  • Tolun SDB is estimated to cost only $100,000–200,000 per unit.
  • The Gökhan booster is modular, reusable, and inexpensive to produce.

Result: An arsenal of hundreds of Gökhan/Tolun bombs can be built for the cost of a few cruise missiles.

5. Alternative to Howitzers & MLRS – "Smart Artillery"

  • Far greater range than traditional artillery (~50 km vs. 100–150 km).
  • Higher accuracy than MLRS systems like HIMARS.
  • Better impact against fortified targets compared to conventional artillery.

Result: Gökhan functions as "smart artillery," delivering missile-level precision at the cost of artillery munitions.

6. Air Defense Neutralization – Anti-SAM Capability

  • Can destroy enemy air defense positions from a safe distance.
  • Ideal for first strikes against Patriot, S-300/400, or NASAMS systems.
  • Stealth capability due to the low radar signature of the Tolun bomb.

Result: Allows rapid elimination of enemy air defenses to pave the way for follow-up attacks.

7. Mass Deployment Capabilities

  • A fraction of the production cost of ballistic missiles.
  • Can be launched in large numbers simultaneously – saturation strikes possible.
  • Easily integrated into existing ground and drone-based launch systems.

Result: Enables swarm attacks that can overwhelm enemy defenses.

Conclusion: Gökhan + Tolun as a Cost-Effective Yet Highly Lethal Precision Weapon

Long-range capability (100–150 km later maybe 200 km or more) with low costs.
Can be launched from both ground-based systems and aircraft – no dependency on jets.
High-precision guidance systems for surgical strikes.
Cost-effective alternative to cruise missiles and ballistic missiles.
Air defense killer – ideal for first-strike missions.
Next-generation "smart artillery" – cheaper, more precise, and more flexible than MLRS or howitzers.

Gökhan with Tolun SDB is a revolutionary system that can replace traditional artillery, cruise missiles, and expensive ballistic missiles in many operational scenarios.
