It really doesn't matter what Mr Trump would say or whether he agrees to reintroduce Türkiye to the F-35 clique or not.
In the end the Zionist lobby will get what it wants and he will succumb. Like the ones before him he's under the grip of AIPAC and other Zionist "NGOs".
In addition to that, Mr Erdogan is going to hold a speech at the UN assembly and it's going to be about Gaza. As usual, as soon as there are signs of thawing in the US-Turkish relations, he chooses to say something to piss off the Zionists who run the entire United States politics.

That being said, I find it important to speak for the injustice that is happening to Palestinians in Gaza and the illegal settlements in the West Bank and Jerusalem, but the timing is just right to sabotage any deals involving the US, Especially after the latest word sparring between Mr Netenyahu and Mr Erdogan.

The Israeli news outlets are voicing concerns about Turkish military power and the naval drills of Turkish-Egyptian navies in the East Med.

In conclusion, I say no matter how warm and positive the meeting would be, there's next to no chance that anything would change but I'd like to be wrong.

Key members of Congress pushed back, telling they saw Turkey’s acquisition as a confidence-building step, my sources on the Hill said. From Trump’s remarks, it appears he will press Ankara to proceed with the deal — and Ankara has complied."

To sweeten the deal, there might be promises of Türkiye returning to industrial participation in the future TBD.

Contrary to others I do not think we are going to forego the purchase of the Eurofighter.

Because 1. I think it would do serious damage to the relations we have built with the Brits over the last few years especially after they put so much work into convincing Germany 2. Airbus might get slighted by this and it could have negative ripple effects on other projects also 3. I think the Air Force really wants a non-American Fighter in its inventory.

The KC-46 is a very problematic aircraft, I'd rather go for the Airbus MRTT or build custom ones with Airbus as JV with TAI.

It wasn't. It was designed for Harriers. It needs large modifications on its flight deck to be able to handle F-35B operations.

I came across an article in a Russian military publication that mentions the Harrier. It says Indonesia has decided to purchase the aircraft carrier Giuseppe Garibaldi from Italy, but without the Harriers. Helicopters and Turkish TB3 UAVs will be carried on deck. The article is short, and some of the comments are quite interesting. Given the difficulty accessing it due to the Russian language, I'll leave it here.

I think "being built" is a rather generous term for those two. I don't think they went more than keel laying. They aren't building anything by themselves and DCNS cooperation ended a decade ago.

After the unsuccessful five-day war in South Ossetia (Georgia), the Russians apparently decided that attacking Georgia via the Black Sea would be much easier than transporting troops through the Caucasus passes. Therefore, they ordered two Mistral-class landing ships from France for $1.2 billion. The contract allegedly included the transfer of French technology for localization. When the ships were ready (2015), due to US objections related to the annexation of Crimea, Paris was forced to refuse the Russian order, remove the Russian crew from the ships, and refund the money. The Russians decided to build these helicopter carriers themselves. They are building them in Ukrainian Crimea. After the sinking of the cruiser Moskva, the Ukrainians announced that they would sink the ships any day now, but are waiting for the Russians to complete their construction.
