New factory can build 98 tanks per year at full power and 100 + armored vihacles
- Still we need to speed up the process or we cant finish 1000 tank until 2042 while out advesaries like russia can build 300 tanks per year . We can deacrease Apc-ifv and produce 120 tanks per year at least .

For peace time np deleyed project 96 / year is good number but the problem is that Altay tank is deleyed so much , normally 2016 should be the year for production by Otokar but thats not happen as everyone knows so goverment duty in this case is to compesate the deley by increasing number of tanks per year , if still land forces want 1000 number than 150 tanks / year and still with that numbet it take 10 years to produce them since first years will be lower 5-6 years will be with 150 tanks per year

İ dont make up 1000 tank number from my mind bro , that number is everywhere in media & social networks by 250 in 4 batches. Aslo by logic 1000 is good number to replace old tanks , do u know hpw many old tanls we have ? !
- Leo 1 , M48 , m60 , thats 1500+ old tanks
- İsrael for example have some 700 Merkava 4 which are modern ones
- 1000 for Turkiye is not too much

We don't need MBTs, IFVs, manned jets, modern APCs. What do we need exactly? Million TB-3s? We can't say times have changed we don't need that to every platform while not doing anything to adopt to changing times. MBTs times are over because fpv drones with AP warheads, so are we producing any? No, STM will hopefully produce some in the near future. We can't just say times are changing and sit on our hands. Imo MBTs are still relevant but if army thinks otherwise we should replace them with something which we are not doing

KKK wants a heavy tank and does not prefer a light tank. We’ll see once the new order contract is signed; no one knows yet how many more Altay tanks will be procured.
