Yes, what are you talking about hype. You can use is it for ISR and SIGIN, you can put standoff bombs and missiles like Kemankes.

TUSAŞ Develops a new Jet-Powered Kamikaze UAV: AYAZ | TURDEF

A trademark titled “AYAZ Kamikaze Jet UAV” was spotted on the website of the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office, pointing to a dedicated kamikaze UAV.

According to latest info, Tusas is developing a new jet powered kamikaze UAV called “AYAZ” .

We know that the Simsek-K could be used as a kamikaze UAV with datalinked range of 150km, and with fire and forget range of 500km.

It would be interesting to see this new Kamikaze jet powered UAV.

They have an engine that is used in Global Hawk, though I don't know whether it is powerful enough or not. Or whether it would even fit. They also have another one but it is joint project with the French, so, that is out of the question. Then there is EJ200, of course, but that would be too big, maybe? Unless they've been working on something else.

Ukrainian engines could be okay until TF6K/10K is ready, or rather could've been if their factory hasn't been bombed at least a few times.

Germany could easily buy and needs tactial drones, ie. TAIs, Baykars products. They could put Hensoldts optics on it too.
The procurement agency is pragmatic, but not the politicians and knowing Germany, they are too proud/stubborn to buy something from a country that is perceived as inferior.

But you either go with the time or run the day.

I'd love to see British-Turkish or Italian-Turkish products beat the French in the European market.

I thought, this was an exclusive collaboration deal between BAE and TUSAŞ

Would have been nice before we invested so much in TF6000 but now that we have, we should try to maximize our orders of that in order to fund TEI and get a good return on that investment
