He did give example like Apple or nvidia buying from TMSC, we will never able to produce chips nor now. Untill somebody comes with billions off dollar we could guide them and help them was his answer. Little foundery to help Turkiye needs how much will it cost 5 to 10 billions? Umtill somebody comes and invest we will never able to have a little chip industry.

Look to little Netherlands, they have ther small semiconductor companies, thanks to Phillips they are now big. Beko can do the same, only thibg remains investment. We got the customer only thing remains supplier.

can you watch this video and appreciate how stupidly difficult advanced chip manufacturing actually is? landing a man on the moon is childsplay compared to this. it's essentially black magic. and the video is only about the lithography machine, not about the fab.

Making chips in millions is a challenge but making them in thousands should be easier. There is talk about a 3nm chip factory to be setup in Türkiye by 2027 in cooperation with a Taiwanese company by the drone company Fly BVLOS Technology to make drone autopilot computers. They plan to make 60.000 chips per year.


I believe dUV machines can be made in Türkiye but eUV machines add another layer of complexity as the light will fade if there is gas or lenses in the path of the light. I expect local production with local sources to come online down to 22nm node in the next 7 years.

This can be the most important scientific breakthrough of the century regarding jet engine technologies.
NASA has managed to produce nickel süper alloys that not only manage to stay in shape and unaffected at well above 1093 degrees Celcius, but give 1000 times better creep performance under these temperatures and heavy stresses.

NASA and The Ohio State University have created a brand-new metal called GRX-810, a printable superalloy engineered to withstand extreme heat inside jet and rocket engines. It is being called one of the most significant breakthroughs in high-temperature materials in recent years. NASA saysGRX-810 is twice as strong as the best 3D printed superalloys available today, more than a thousand times more durable at high temperatures, and twice as resistant to oxidation.

GRX-810 is what materials scientists refer to as an oxide dispersion strengthened alloy. In essence, it is a nickel, cobalt, and chromium-based metal reinforced with tiny ceramic particles. These nano-oxides, specifically yttrium oxide (Y₂O₃), make up about one percent of the alloy by weight. NASA coats the metal powder with these nanoscale oxides before printing, and then fuses the powder together layer by layer using laser powder bed fusion.

Oxide dispersion strengthened alloys have existed in concept for decades, but their production was limited because they were nearly impossible to form into complex shapes using traditional casting or forging. NASA’s approach solves that by mixing the oxide particles into metal powder in a controlled way, printing the part for precision, and then hot isostatic pressing it to remove residual stresses without disrupting the oxide structure. In simple terms, NASA has figured out how to 3D print something that was previously considered unprintable.

In performance terms, GRX-810 represents a leap forward. Typical high-end 3D printed superalloys can survive up to around 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit, or 1,093 degrees Celsius. GRX-810 not only survives but operates at those temperatures while retaining strength and ductility. In creep rupture tests, it lasted more than a thousand times longer than common alloys like Inconel 625 or 718. It also showed roughly twice the oxidation resistance and twice the tensile strength compared to current printable alloys. In NASA’s test rigs, printed combustor domes and injector parts made from GRX-810 remained crack-free, while conventional cobalt chrome and Inconel parts developed visible cracks under the same conditions.

I’d really like to know what National Intelligence Service (MIT) really thinks about this whole thing and, of course, I’ll never know about their views and investigations.

Guys, I’m not a fan of the UAE for obvious reasons, but according to SIPRI they’re actually our number-one customer for defense products. So when I first saw the news online, I thought it might be a manipulation intended to damage the relationship.

I never said anything about ‘betrayal.’ I’m just making an analysis. State-to-state relations run on interests, not emotions. A few billion dollars is just one part of that equation. It’s not about liking or disliking anyone... It’s about reading the situation correctly. What I pointed out is that there may not even be a betrayal in this case, and people shouldn’t jump to conclusions based on every headline they see.

According to SIPRI we’re the world’s 11th largest arms exporter and could realistically push into the top 5 within a decade. Our biggest customer right now is the UAE, so headlines that single them out as a ‘target’ don’t strike me as genuine. Be careful and don’t jump on every story!!!

In its corrected form, it sounds like (not definite) there is a cover up of involvement of a certain country. In this new version it’s presented as some Turkish nationals, defense industry executives of all people, are engaged in espionage activities independently. More censored it looks.

Mr. Kubilay Yıldırım, for instance, pointing to headhunting by UAE within Turkish Defence industry that has been aggressive to say the least. He also adds that the breakthrough of both UAE and Saudi Arabia defence industry in recent years is not insignificant.

BRUH! I never imagined I’d end up defending the UAE, but here we are lol.
I didn’t even see ‘UAE’ on the document attached in those tweets but only in the comments. And EVEN IF the UAE is on that paper, then what? Am I supposed to act shocked? Tons of countries have been doing the exact same thing for years, buddy. Look at ASML, the place is full of Turkish engineers, they’re probably serving döner in the cafeteria every damn day.


I’m not thinking like Erdoğan when he says ‘the Arabs didn’t betray us’ lol. They absolutely did at times... no denial there. But they’re not the only ones doing this, yet somehow they’re the ones being singled out right now, painted as the devil’s shadow on Earth thanks to the media.
Let me repeat: I’m not calling them angels. But if they’ve screwed us once, then what do we call the countries that have stabbed us ten times, yet we keep crawling back to them like a blinded, insecure lover afraid to be alone?


And honestly, this whole ‘Arab hate’ narrative plays perfectly into the hands of certain countries. They benefit massively from keeping that hostility alive.

If we’re claiming that we’re going to lead this whole fricking ‘turf,’ a.k.a. the MENA region, then we’d better adjust our ideological framework accordingly. We won’t achieve that through hard power alone, but by keeping regional powers close and building as many points of connection with them as possible. This is the way and Israel's one of the biggest nightmare is a good relationship between Turks and Arabs.
