Many countries that have better economy than Turkiye doesn't have hydrocarbons either. Like some members posted above, Turkiye need to produce more value added products, especially high tech goods. Limit your imports and prioritize local production as much as possible instead.

I fail to understand Tusas’s strategy to be honest. Usually you provide local production and know how when there is a huge order at stake. But they practically always give it no matter the order.

Yeah, in every deal they are offering local production. Even for small orders.

Like someone above said, wouldn’t that be a waste of ressources to put a valuable radar like Murad in every aircrafts, especially drones ? And does anybody know how much is the cost of such a radar ?

Gokdogan is an equivalent to the AIM-120 C version, at least in term of range, so nothing extraordinary here. What I want to see is Gökhan instead. This missile will be a real game changer.
