I must admit, i don’t follow media influencers. Some, I’m only aware of, some vaguely have an idea about but the gist of it, I can’t say I care what they say.
Carlson’s shift surprised everyone (yes, I’m aware of this one) but from where he stands it’s not (technically) very much far from where he used to stand before. America first. and I‘ve seen at YouTube shorts that he also criticizes US financial back up of Israel which actually falls in with young progressive population.
My opinion is that the average Joe and Jane have witnessed for the first time their representatives hanging Israeli flags at their office doors at Capitol Hill in a country where citizens take the pledge of allegiance to the US flag when they were kids. Young population from both sides also have seen how the elected US politicians upholding Israel’s policies labeled as her security matters contrary to European politicians.
So, he actually might wanna hold on to his followers. I don’t know.
I haven’t realized such a crack within democrats regarding Mamdani but wouldn’t be surprised if there was. As the old work horses they are, The upper level Democrats may not not be as progressive and radicalized as the younger generation. NY City is home to real estate barons, Wall Street and the largest Jewish population in the world. They might get spooked by Mamdani’s radical tax proposals that might upset all parties involved. And perhaps a little bit of racism might be going on here as well.

Looks like China has become the first country to operationalize this type of UCAV. I was focused on Anka-3 and KE as they are both going through active tests unlike any other, and forget about GJ-11 as it was from a decade ago.

They usually don't do it unless it is in service.
J-35 (its early prototype) was flying for years.
But this one is from few months ago after it entered service with PLAAF.

We should also take into account the political and even strategic concerns of any given country as well, I believe. Like one man’s food other man’s poison, you know.
Turkey, for instance, parading every step of its projects with a lot of fanfare, if you ask me. But I also can understand the reasoning behind starting from political PR/propaganda, all the way up to showcasing its newly gained capabilities with every new hardware, hence creating a deterrent for its foes.

I feel the same way. I’m not raged or gone mad but just feeling bad for whole thing.
The loss of life at a plane crash is tragic, regardless of nationality. Also, aviators, aviation enthusiasts universally don’t enjoy such tragic accidents but rather feel sorrow for the loss of crew and souls out of respect of this profession.
So sad indeed.

Two Dute police officers wanted to bring the girl back There was an argument, because the girl does not want to leave her mother. A policeman hit the girl with Tesar, one shot her life-threatening
Now all TV stations and radio stations are switched to defense mode for police.
My question would the Turkish police have done something like that, what would happen.
As a note in Germany, the 6 meter rule applies for the protection of the police. FROM 6 meters approach, police officers may feel "threatened".

A twelve year old kid with a knife,what can she do against a grown man?
German police officers have body armor in cities.
Trust me when i say that this story is bs,they just shot her dead,why not the legs?
They are trained to shoot the leg,something is really wrong here.
Keep in mind,this is not the US,its Western Europe.
The German police train to shoot at the body. The Turkish police, however, train to shoot at the legs. That's why a member of the PÖH was killed in a firefight.
But for me, it's also very interesting how the German media, as if by a magical hand, was switched to stand behind the police.

You want my opinion? Police were way out of line by shooting a 12 year old girl with a firearm whom they had just teased. I doubt the German police were trained in that manner. They seemed like fighting in a close quarters combat in an urban area.

German police are trained to aim for the torso when lethal force is necessary, but are also trained to fire warning shots or aim for the legs to stop a fleeing suspect when the situation is not life-threatening
. The decision depends on the specific threat and the immediate danger to the officer or others. Aiming for the center mass (torso) is taught as the most effective way to stop an aggressor in a life-threatening situation because it is the largest target.
Training priorities
- Life-threatening situations: Officers are trained to aim for the torso to stop the threat as quickly as possible.
- Fleeing suspects: They are advised to shoot at the legs (not the knees) to stop someone from fleeing without the intention of causing lethal harm.
- Warning shots: The use of firearms is a last resort, and officers are trained to fire warning shots first.
- Non-lethal options: Officers are trained to use force that is proportional to the threat, meaning they are taught to aim for parts that won't cause lethal wounds if the situation does not involve an immediate threat to life

Honestly, i suspect Turkish Police get much of real life situations training. If you follow social media, you’ll see many cases Turkish police trying convince the murderer and suspect with murder weapon in hand standing beside the victims.
These scenes created a strong criticism toward Turkish Police. Only after that, they started shooting at murderers and suspects weapons in hand.
Turkish law enforcement officers were skeptical because they were afraid of the legal and social consequences.
