He looks reaaaalllly Turkish. Probably named Azad Rojhelat or Ebu Arabi Al Arabi or something. We know media likes to call everyone with a TR passport Turkish. We all know what's up.

I will answer your questions correctly even though I've never been to Turkiye.
"Turkey’s GDP per capita stood at $3,641 in 2002, the year before Erdogan became prime minister, and reached $9,661 in 2021, according to the latest World Bank data" (CNN Business)

I know exactly where is the flaw in this kind of logic. Sure, Turkish economy grew three times since 2000.
But you can never accurately deduce how average citizens are doing just by counting the GDP numbers over the years.

I know this because the same can be argued about current Bangladeshi ruling party. BD's economy grew more then three time since 2010 From 115 billion to 420 billion. Oh, that sounds great! But guess what?
If you ask an average citizen what fundamentally changed? He will tell you, pretty much nothing.

Erdogan more than trippled Turkiye's GDP per capita during his rule. But today, the West tries to convince people that Erdogan's mismanagement of the economy is the cause of Turkiye's economic problems. How can people believe them, specially when there are clues of Western economic attack on Turkiye everywhere.
As for Erdogan's refugee policy, people support him out of compassion for the stranded MUSLIM refugees. We true Muslims are more intimately connected than our enemies think. You may call us Islamists or fundamentalists or even terrorists, but no toture or badmouthing will make us abandon our brothers and especially our leaders (Erdogan a good example). This is why the combined force of the Western media and opposition propaganda does not convince the Turkish conservative base. Islam and their leader is way more important than the economy.
No politician will succeed in a conservative Muslim community if he has Western support. We dislike almost everything the West stands for. We will never like or trust their governments - especially not after the 65+ million deaths and displacements they inflicted on the Muslim world since 9/11 (and these crimes will be paid for no matter how long it takes).
CHP's or KK's biggest mistake was getting the endorsement of the West at a time when anti-Western sentiments in the Muslim world is through the roofs. As long as conservative Muslims are a majority in Turkiye, secularists should forget about winning elections.
~3600$ in 2001 is equal to ~6000$ today so per capita real growth is less than you think. 3500 to 4000 dollars in over 2 decades is hardly a thing to brag about.

Economic illiteracy is so widespread, the case of the African Erdo fanboy prooves it again.

GDP growth of South Korea:
$11,561 per capita in 2001
$34,998 per capita in 2021

A plus of $23,437 in 2 decades under 5 different presidents from conservative and liberal-democratic parties. Healthy fiscal and economic policies generate growth not some idolized leader …

Actually that was

2002-2013 3000 to 12000
2013-2021 12000 to 9000+

And 2022 10000+

As @Afif posted earlier, GDP per capita can‘t be the sole factor for economic development.

We have to further factor in:
- inflation rate over the years
- devaluation of the Turkish Lira
- cost of living per household
- disposable net income per household
- net savings per household
- …
to get a realistic picture about the standard of living.

Is „life“ better or worse now than 20 years ago for the average Turkish household?

GDP per capita is an average and does not take into account inequality.

By all metrics, inequality is worse in Turkey than before, it is worse than in Russia now. AKP made slaves of the people

compare to 2002 of course better but with 2014 that was almost worse

2002-about 2015 growth very fast but this 7-8 year not good.Same as the GDP growth

But these years of covid and war is not good for whole world.

According to ANKA;

For AA, we don't know the percentages yet but the reporters say Erdogan is ahead of KK by a very large margin(according to AA results).

They didn't lie, Both reach the same conclusion.

AA input Erdogan's data first and Anka did the opposite. Just wait until 60% open and then we can see what the deal is.

They reached the same conclusion after claiming that KK was ahead the entire evening.

No way your numbers are so different from reality if you're not trying to manipulate. AA's numbers are more logical with a large RTE lead in the beginning (as rural counting is faster than cities).

Anka was caught as a liar in the first round. Would rather trust AA's number.

And AA is so trustworthy. AA first announced Erdogan as %59 in the first round. They've been known to manipulating results for a long while.(Announcing the places where Erdogan have more votes first etc)

We should wait and see where both agencies meet. Both of them are not trustworthy.
