Well, think of it this way: Our Hisar and Siper missiles; If they were not able to stop supersonic missiles like HARM, Brahmos or Hellfire Missiles, what is the point in having them on board our ships? Are they only good for intercepting air breathing cruise missiles and planes? After all we are actually considering for our Hisar series to replace or use “instead” of ESSM, which CAN intercept supersonic missiles.

The notion that s400 is not effective against supersonic missiles is silly and a bit unbelievable. If true then it is as good as useless.
