I am doubting 6.2 meters for the length, 420 should be corresponding to the width (diamater) with the strakes-dorsal fins, assuming this total length comes down to 5.4 to 5.7 which is favorable for the kind of the missile. With booster it may be above 6 meters.SIPER Block-2 is a completely new design. It is not a derivative of HİSAR RF Missiles such as B0, such as HİSAR O+ and B1, with a booster attached and some aerodynamic design improvement to reach a range of 100km.
While 235mm diameter, 5.3m length and 100km range are given for the SİPER B1 Missile, these values are 420mm, 6.2m and 150km for the SİPER Block 2 Missile. According to the ASELSAN roadmap, ballistic missile interception capability with the SIPER System will be achieved in 2028.

Think of it like SM-2 and SM-2BIV/SM-6It will have a booster too? I thought the point was to have a single body.
So we might see something like a double-pack? At least given that MIDLAS should be at least 61x61cm if it is going to carry BM'sI am doubting 6.2 meters for the length, 420 should be corresponding to the width (diamater) with the strakes-dorsal fins, assuming this total length comes down to 5.4 to 5.7 which is favorable for the kind of the missile. Nobody cares about double pack at this point and i don't know what is the hype for. Quadpacking of other missiles (Hisar-D, Siper B1D) and evolving this missile into a BM interceptor are far more important goals than double packing this missile. So we might see something like a double-pack? The goal is to have 150+ km range and a certain altitude with single body. Naturally there will be a version with booster. It will have a booster too? I thought the point was to have a single body.
we are kind of at the begining and may be way too early to talk about but would love to hear your opinion on the potantial performance of HİSAR D against supersonic anti ship missilesNobody cares about double pack at this point and i don't know what is the hype for. İt was me scrutinizing doublepack issue.Nobody cares about double pack at this point and i don't know what is the hype for.

Mandatory for export. The countries you will export may want to use the US-origin missiles in their possession. Or they may want to buy missiles from the USA again in the future. Having extra options makes them easier to market.I don't understand why MILDAS project have to follow the US vls standard ? for what ?
I mean that Turkey will soon reach it's full independence with producing it's own navel missiles and with this Turkey will never buy any missiles from the west until the end of time. so why not make the Turkish VLS for the Turkish missile with the standard they want ?
Russia and China are using their own VLS system to fit the missiles they produce
Can't tell much before seeing sea trials against a sea skimming target, but with two way data link, dual pulse motors and agility we have seen, it should perform decently.we are kind of at the begining and may be way too early to talk about but would love to hear your opinion on the potantial performance of HİSAR D against supersonic anti ship missiles
Should be the same as Mk41 VLSSo, estimates on 6.2 m length and 420 mm missile diameter (Not total diameter) seem to be true. Does anyone have info on MİDLAS's diameter? View attachment 60572
