Time to bring in USA and Israel closer in this conflict. One more important point is, to drag out Armenia of this conflict.

Question is, what is our gain in a possible conflict, which will come out, without doubts? First, to liberation Azeri aerials from Iran. Second, regime change.

"The problems of Iran's north-western neighbors must be resolved with confidence in the neighboring peoples and the cooperation of their armies, without the military presence of indifferent armies."

"In the problems of Iran's north-west, the Iranian armed forces are acting wisely and forcefully. It is better that others act wisely and do not allow problems for the region. Those who dig holes for their brothers fall into the holes themselves."

The language of threat and arrogance are at the highest level even in the messages these men share as a message of friendship. Although they do not want to show it, the exercises, successes of the Turkish-Azerbaijani joint armies, Turkish base and joint defence projects cause them to eat themselves inside. Behavior patterns of them are always based on supporting Armenia without revealing too much. When the Karabakh war started, we all saw what Iran did and how Azerbaijani Turks living in Iran reacted. Similar things are happening at present. Their hands are tied because they are also afraid of the overwhelming Turkish Azerbaijani population in Iran. When it comes to the success of Azerbaijan and Turkey in the field, they usually do not know what to do.

Overdose of arrogance and vanity again. For God's sake, why does the border change or the protection of Azerbaijan upset Iran so deeply? Why doesn't everyone mind their own business? Is it necessary to get permission from Iran when starting a business on the issues between Turkey and Azerbaijan? There was such a "take permission" rule but we forgot?

Iran is getting cornered in the region. Both the successful operation in Karabakh and also the Turkish military intervention in Iraq is increasing the pressure against Iran and its partners. Turkey is playing very good its strategic cards in the name of KRG and Azerbaijan.

When Turkish success came in the north of Iraq then Iranian cells activated themselves and started attacking Turkish military installations. After the Iraqi Defence Minister gave up to the pressure and openly supported Turkey in its actions against PKK in Sinjar Iran started targeting assets of the KDP-I (Kurdistan Democratic Party-Iran) in KRG and urged KRG to expel terrorists from its territories. Now after the success and pressure in Karabag, the talks of military solution to the closing of Zangezur corridor Iran is pointing at military action and also mentions that Azerbaijan is hosting terrorists on its territory. It is all the same pattern and this is showing us that whatever Turkey is doing it is done in the right way both in Iraq and also in Azerbaijan. Turkey should be ready to guard its national interests and work closely in the region within the frame of the Turkic Council.

Press Secretary of the Turkic Council Kahraman Haliscelik:

"From Kardzhali to Tuva; from Constanta to Kashgar; from Yakutia to Gagauzia; From Kirkuk to Sancak; From Idlib to Tabriz.

The hope of all Turkish homelands is in the growth and strengthening of our union, which has been sprouted under the roof of the Turkic Council.

On this occasion, happy 'Turkish Cooperation Day' once again!"

You summed it up very well brother, thank you. The Turkish Council as a whole is now starting to act much more effectively.

The principal reason for Iran's behaviour is very much out in the open. For the Iranian regime, there's nothing more dangerous, threatening and alarming than the formation of a transnational ethnic identitiy involving Azeris on both sides of the the Iranian-Azerbaijani border. The Persian-majority establishment fears possible consequences for the state. They believe that showing restraint at this point can lead to an escalation which could easily turn this issue into a matter of life and death for the regime.

Nothing is considered as a greater threat to the Mullah reign - not Israel, the US, the GCC or ISIS - than Turkish/Turkic nationalism. This is why they react so harsh and decisive. On top of this, there is this vague fear that Arab, Turkmen, Kurdish and Baloch people could also question Iran's territorial integrity with neighboring states waiting for the first opportunity to shred Iran into pieces. We often forget that Iran has much more ethnic conflicts lingering under the surface than any other state in the Middle East.

However, there are two points that should not be left out of the equation:

1. Many Iranian Azeris are loyal to the regime which is often overlooked by Turkish and Azeri Pan-Turkists.
2. The number of loyal Iranian citizens with Azeri ethnic background is declining - and the regime forces are fully aware of this development.

During my restricted conversations with Iranians and Iranian Azeris in Western Europe and on the Internet, I could sense that these anti-regime sentiments are actually caused by the overall terrible economic situation in Iran rather than a genuine Azeri nationalism and hatred for Persians.

Right now, things are very blurry and people can't really tell what the future will bring which doesn't help. If anything, it makes all parties more nervous.

However, one thing is for sure, we're at a crossroad and many Azeris in Iran are in a process of "reevaluation".

As we can see with Türkmenistan, Dearsan has pretty much built them a flotilla in approximately 10 years the latest being C92 with all the delicious stuff we want to see in the TN.

As it has been pointed out, it’s important to stay true and alert on our national interests while we contribute as much as possible to Turkic Union members and strengthen their armed forces.

joint drills are necessary, but so is the control of Karabagh as in border gates and monitoring who comes and goes.

See the class difference between the forums? Thanks moderation team, even the biggest trolls know how to behave here and have to vomit their verbal diarrhea somewhere else.

Honestly kind of clownish to read echo chamber some persian "nationalists" have formed there and elsewhere....and always funny how so many have flags that are anything but Iran (esp. residentially).

You cannot have proper nationstate with theocracy. This is oil and water....and that is completely lost on these people to begin with.

Then they sniff too much supremacist glue and get hooked on it....with no understanding of how current theocracy is total mismatch to those eras as well (esp when they go back to sassanid and achaemenid).

So they are coming at this all predictably from "zionist entity/scheme" Azerbaijan etc....

Including that weirdo who was here that couldn't bring himself to call Israel by its name...lol.

Cringe.

This has spillover by way of the theocracy to other shias to west and east of Iran physical boundary....yet these people are not Persian...and that is made evidently clear by same people when some other topic comes up.

It is all just super messed up when you do not have a 1st principle logic to set up nation state. The whole revolution was one scam replacing earlier scam....and lot of people just dont want to call it out....but prefer to go along with inertia of it just existing.

Yes you said it well it’s more about the economic and secular hatred then it’s about nationalism since many of the regime bazaar supportes , cleric and IRGC officials are of the Azeri background. Kurds and baloch they are more of a threat to Iran even though they are indo Europeans by the language but they are Sunni and nationalists. The Azerbaijani local militias and army under the command of the Azeri khalkhali and Ghulamreza Hasani helped to crush the Kurdish rebellion that’s why the official posts in Kurdish areas are held by Azeri Turkish Shias and not Iranic Kurds

If US and Israel support separatism they will lose the Iranian opposition specially the shah supporters and Iranian nationalists abd other secular liberal Democratic opposition groups
