This has to do with their personal profit now the general benefit which reduces their credibility , the only air defense we're contracting is the SPYDER according to DefensaThere is no doubt that more strategic agreements will be concluded, as stated by the Moroccan ambassador to India. However, I do not post information in this thread that is not confirmed or has any backing without strong sources. Lately, a lot of Moroccan media channels have been publishing a lot of "confusing" news that has no basis.
Morocco invests in the field of ballistic steel production for its defense industry
The Moroccan state will support the company Maghreb Steel in developing two solutions:
- development of thin-walled steel made of self-weathering microalloys.
- Development of Weldable ballistic steel
Factory will be operational within one year in Casablanca's defense industrial zone
First Kestrel IFVs to roll out within 18 months from now
This vehicle will be used by the Moroccan ground forces and for African customers in the near future

My best guess is that Elbit's factory in Morocco will modify the Kestrels to use Israeli equipment such as the Torch-X Mounted C4ISR and the MT-30 Turret with Spike LR-2 ATGMs

The CEO of BlueBird Aero Systems confirmed that a local production facility has been established in Morocco and that mass production will start in the "near future". When Morocco entered a partnership with the company, the company was a small company that sold 50% of its shares to IAI. The facility will have 15,000 square meters. Morocco has signed a strategic partnership with Belgian firms Sabca and Sabena Aerospace, alongside American giant Lockheed Martin, for the maintenance and support of F-16 and C-130 Hercules aircraft. It will allow maintenance of all MAF aircraft, at all levels: A, B, C and especially D-Check. We were obliged before to send our C-130s abroad for Check-D, the major maintenance visit, but now we will take the matters into our own hands.!
