There is no doubt that more strategic agreements will be concluded, as stated by the Moroccan ambassador to India. However, I do not post information in this thread that is not confirmed or has any backing without strong sources. Lately, a lot of Moroccan media channels have been publishing a lot of "confusing" news that has no basis.

This has to do with their personal profit now the general benefit which reduces their credibility , the only air defense we're contracting is the SPYDER according to Defensa

His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Supreme Commander and Chief of General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR), issued the "Order of the Day" to the FAR on Wednesday, on the occasion of the 69th anniversary of its founding:

With the same determination, we will continue to support the military industries localization programs as one of the major national projects that enjoy our high patronage, and for which we have been keen to provide all the favorable conditions for its success, in accordance with a far-sighted future vision that aims to achieve the desired independence in the defense sector. This will be achieved by establishing a supportive legal framework and providing important incentives for Moroccan and foreign investors and partners to advance this vital project.

Factory will be operational within one year in Casablanca's defense industrial zone

First Kestrel IFVs to roll out within 18 months from now

This vehicle will be used by the Moroccan ground forces and for African customers in the near future

Factory to produce 100 Kestrels per year initially

My best guess is that Elbit's factory in Morocco will modify the Kestrels to use Israeli equipment such as the Torch-X Mounted C4ISR and the MT-30 Turret with Spike LR-2 ATGMs

Plus US engines and comms

The CEO of BlueBird Aero Systems confirmed that a local production facility has been established in Morocco and that mass production will start in the "near future". When Morocco entered a partnership with the company, the company was a small company that sold 50% of its shares to IAI. Now we can expect that all types of loitering munitions will be produced under Moroccan specifications, as well as smaller reconnaissance, and surveillance drones.

Commercial video taken in Morocco of the SPY-X loitering munition.

New footage shows Moroccan troops testing the BlueBird Spy-X drone. It was tested in very harsh desert conditions, and was also used again Tanks with cages.

This MRO center is a big step forward on the scale of the Moroccan Army and Morocco.

It will be a modern center, with western standards, for the maintenance of our entire fleet, from transport planes to fighter planes. The center will be installed near the Benslimane . The facility will have 15,000 square meters. Morocco has signed a strategic partnership with Belgian firms Sabca and Sabena Aerospace, alongside American giant Lockheed Martin, for the maintenance and support of F-16 and C-130 Hercules aircraft. It will allow maintenance of all MAF aircraft, at all levels: A, B, C and especially D-Check. We were obliged before to send our C-130s abroad for Check-D, the major maintenance visit, but now we will take the matters into our own hands.!

“This project represents the first achievement in the framework of the recent law aimed at enabling the Kingdom of Morocco to develop a military-industrial and defence activity and to draw strategic and economic benefits from it,” Blueberry Group stated.

It took its time!

The Moroccan F-16 fleet will be modernized to Viper standard at this facility. The facility is expected to be operational in the second half of 2026, enabling MAM to perform heavy maintenance and technological upgrades on C-130 and F-16 aircraft while creating jobs for a highly qualified workforce.
