What about voting just for abolishing presidential system? What about voting for against corruption and mismanagement?
First we have to remove the current regime problem.

Having been founded powerful parliamental system and strong democratic and economic institutions, your voice will find place in the Parliament.

Don't you see Turkish juridical system like puppet? Turkish people deserve better democracy than this.

Corruption, theft, propaganda, poverty - all of this won't stop magically because CHP is in power. I respectfully remind you that CHP-Kemalists have a dark and terrible track record in Turkish politics.

There's no messiah. Erdoğan wasn't one and the opposition should stop narrating this obviously fake story of Turkey turning into a paradise the very first day after Erdoğan is voted out of office.

Yet, some people here still haven't understood what Turkey's problems are. It's definitely NOT the presidential system per se. There are advantages and disadvantages for both, parliamentary and presidential governing systems. There are examples of functioning democracies with very diverging administrative approaches.

What makes and breaks a democracy is the ability of the parliament to scrutinize every move of the elected government.

The opposition is not innocent. They literally helped Erdogan to gain his powers and they, too, need a critical supervision.

Bro, people living at abroad has not a clue how vast corruption has reached.

We are still doing high end residence projects so boss told us some stories.
He asked one of the contractor (a big name in Turkey), who are buying all these residences in this economic crysis. Contractorsays, %90 of their sales are to bureaucrats and he says they are buying like 5-10 at a time.

Another scheme is buying expensive watches. A contractor buys a watch for a million liras and gifts it to bureaucrat. Bureaucrat sells it to place where contractor bought it, for 950.000 liras. Almost all of the high-end watched sold in Ankara is in this system.

AKP members are robbing this country in every-way they can imagine.

I assure you Germany guys, you talk above have not a single concern for the country or for the Turkish people. I can swear they have relatives within this scheme but i can't prove it.

I have enough friends who are supporters of Erdoğan and they have really close relationship with his family. İ have heard a lot of things. Every valuable real estates is under control of the president. Every day he checks new assets and decides whom to give.

I heard a lot of things about Zeyport project which costs 380 million USD. Currently constructor bodies can't find credit to build it so they might sell someone else ofcourse with their interest. Here we should ask:" why do some constructors have ability to win bids?"

@Sinan look as an engineer how it sounds ? Big project?

I dont think so, he is just living far away from the ground reality in Turkey, i live in europe and i know this type of gurbetci, let me sumerise them:

Their parents have fed them with anti Atatürk propaganda from their childhood so any leader who says Allah, Muhammed is good in his eyes because its the opposite of bad kemalists.
He doesnt need to question whether his beliefs are true or not because its not him who bears the consequences anyways, besides he is too ''proud'' to admit any wrong to begin with.
I mean the last holiday was amazing wasnt it? He could buy so many clothes and go to the fanciest restaurants with euros, Turkey is much better than Germany, the weather is better, the food is better and everything is so much cheaper, he is living for these 3 weeks in year.

This is a short summary of every Erdogan fanatic Turkish migrant in second/third generation in europe.

Nah, i'm not even talking about those big ones. I'm talking about regular ones.

And it's not have to been in construction sector. For example, if a ministry is going to buy furniture for their building, be it old or new.
Bureaucrat gets his share and pays more to the guy who "won" the bid. They pay for example 3 million liras for the furniture that worth 1 million liras and they each get 1 million.

Now apply this scheme to all AKP municipalities, all ministries and all state institutions including military and judiciary.

Taxes of 85 million being shared in the %5 of the population, the remaining %95 are working for these guys....

The situation is getting worse and worse each day. Just today they made 45 kuruş raise in gas prices.... i don't know if we can last 1.5 years or not.

just living far away from the ground reality

This is ultimately what guides most of the sad BS in the world at large.

Gets somewhat worse the larger the country is too....as you have more people that can ensconce in whatever catches their flight of fancy and emotional needs....and project what may be vindicated close to them.....but may not apply on others at all (but they feel it ought to).

I seen this among Indians and Americans etc (and Chinese but thats longer story) in all manner of ways...but equally it can apply too for any population size in the end...just the context is required.

The human species mostly wants easy straight-forward black and white answers in a large world of complicated hues of grey.

It is an absurd existence as Camus points out.

The powerful are very attuned to (exploiting) this.

This stuff waxes and wanes cyclically.....as things (regarding deep trust) boil over from being left derelict and forgotten.

First time in the history, GDP per capita in Turkey diminished 7 years in a row.

Erdo will leave the country where he took over but at the same time World Economy and others grew, expanded and get wealthier. Talking about growing etc.. PPP values and Lira growth rates are just lullabies for ignorant masses while in reality country is not growing thanks to Economic Masterminds, people getting poorer everyday just like in 90s.. because of populist and corrupt policies.

you cant compare the size of economy with such high fluctuations in currency value...if lira had same value todays turkish economy would be over 1 trillion

Than ask the older ones.
The older ones cant even calculate 5+5, the old generation in Turkey is largely illiterate, their political knowledge consists of 3 sentences thats being repeated since 20 years.
Thats actually the problematic generation, they go and vote without knowing anything, their political choice has stolen the future of Turkish youth.

Do you have a Degree in Economics? Because I have. GDP or per capita values, any macro economic figure calculated with yearly averages (meaning calculated with average rate of USD/TRY) , relax we don't use 9.60 USD / TRY daily rate.. Growth rate (real) calculated with a stable, commonly accepted currency to compare countries (USD).

This is Turkey's real GDP.. Are you growing?

Again if my aunt had a mustache she would be my uncle.
The sad reality is Lira lost value and now everything got more expensive hence the purchasing power lowered which again means avarage people got poorer.
