@what can you please move it to casual discussion? i think this is fun.
I fail to see what is wrong with that.As I said before, the moment the US warns Turkish businesses about Russia, they will immediately comply since it isnt worth getting sanctioned for Russia. Turkish enterprises are just trying to suck as much from Russia as possible
Ok then please explain me why the US doesnt just sanction instead of tarnishing one of their most important companies image?Any mishap in the delivery of such an engine is politically oriented as GE is fully capable of fulfilling the order.
Currently an American aircraft carrier is heading our way to make presence in preparation to Greece declaring 12 miles territorial waters claim. There is no tarnishing of any GE image as GE is known to be a capable company. The US stands behind Greece to threaten Türkiye to stand down on Greece's actions. It is only in line with the US policy to threaten Türkiye when we do not give way to US demands about Sweden's intended NATO accession. And every US demand against the interests of Türkiye for that matter. Türkiye is going to elections and the US wants the opposition to win against the strong Ak Party government. Any effect the US can make to weaken the existing Turkish government's position they will not spare, which includes engine deliveries to Türkiye's aviation projects. This is so obvious to every person who is interested in knowing the truth.Ok then please explain me why the US doesnt just sanction instead of tarnishing one of their most important companies image?
What gain does this kind of aproach give to them?

Think harder.Source of such claims?
I dont think Greece will opt to such insanity rn
TEI make many parts for GE and we can sanction them back if they openly sanction.Ok then please explain me why the US doesnt just sanction instead of tarnishing one of their most important companies image?

Greek trolls or akp trolls & simps? Think again...The US carrier has been in the region for a long time and Crete is one of the bases it uses for resupply. It has supplied in Greece several times in the past year. The effort and propaganda to portray this as part of Greek strategy is being carried out by Grek trolls.
Who said it is a new thing. The US carrier has been in the region for a long time and Crete is one of the bases it uses for resupply. It has supplied in Greece several times in the past year. The effort and propaganda to portray this as part of Greek strategy is being carried out by Grek trolls.
TEI has contracts worth billions of dollars. We would be the losers. They can build new lines to produce what TEI produces. It's GE that has the technological edge, not TEI.TEI make many parts for GE and we can sanction them back if they openly sanction.
They lose more than we do, they lose a big customer and a big part of their supply chain which can not be replaced without paying a big price. That is the reason why they don't impose a direct sanction and only drag their feet to cause delays son our side. It happened with the F35 and they are still begging for us to return.TEI has contracts worth billions of dollars. We would be the losers. They can build new lines to produce what TEI produces. It's GE that has the technological edge, not TEI.
They can recuperate their money from the US government. They lose more than we do, they lose a big customer and a big part of their supply chain which can not be replaced without paying a big price.
You might want to explain this.It happened with the F35 and they are still begging for us to return.
You probably never heard when a US general said "We desperately need Turkiye to be on the F35 program". This was a while back. They can recuperate their money from the US government.
You might want to explain this.
