Not to mention Haftar allied with one of the worst Militias in Libya.

The Al Kani brothers and their militias they ruled Tarhuna with such savagery. They had their own personal lions and rumours swirl that they fed people to send a message to anybody who goes against them.

Turkish Drones wiped out most of the brothers like Mohsen Kani. Just look at the man. So evil.

Suddenly, tiny Tarhuna became the cockpit of an international struggle. Haftar was backed by a strange alliance of France, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates - and Russia, which sent mercenaries to camp in the Kanis' town. Against them, Turkey poured in weapons to support the Tripoli government. And it was probably a Turkish drone that killed Mohsen al-Kani and the youngest brother, Abdul-Adhim, aged 22, in September 2019.

Remember what the Russians were doing in Libya.

Same thing in Ukraine is happening.

We should always be careful with the information we are presented with unless we confirmed it with our own trusted sources. Information about Ukraine-YPG collab might be intentionally released.

I dont know how legit it is. The thing is the ypg is also backed by Russia.

I wonder how Ukraine will make them turn against Russia.

Ypg is bankrolled by the Usa and Russia.

This guy is a complete thug. There's nothing crazy he won't do for whoever pays him. Ottoman 16th/17th century Mediterranean policy was based on the recruitment of these bandits and, if that was not possible, on hanging them on the gallows. Jack Ward aka Yusuf Reis was an extreme example of this. When there was nowhere left to plunder in the Mediterranean, he sailed his ships to Iceland, lol.
And the CHP wants to normalise relations with that guy.... unbelievable

Haftar forces literally left mass graves of women and children in their wake, and Macron turns around and talks about democracy and human rights and not even one "independent" western media reminds them of who they support. Stupid Turkish liberals as always fall for the aesthetics of "liberalism", "free independent media" and "human rights".

One other funny anecdote is ambitious Greek kids defending Haftar and saying Turks support the other side and that's why elections can't be held in Libya.

As I mentioned earlier re Libya and opposition parties however, this is not a clear cut case. Our goals are not about what Libyans to do each other but maximizing Turkish interests. Usually this also means better lives for Libyans, but it doesn't have to. If say an Egyptian Turkish Italian cooperation will lead to better results with a LNA without Haftar instead of GNA, why shouldn't we take it? Libya won't stay fractured forever, there will be elections and a transfer or amalgamation of power. It doesn't really matter what the outcome of that is as long as it's in our interests. Harsh but true.

In my opinion it is about balancing the Turkish interest with local people's interest. Specially if you want to play the long game.
Otherwise, if you try to MAXIMIZE the Turkish interest in expense of local people I am afraid Turkey’'s adventure in Libya would be short lived.
I think this is pretty much self-evident if we observe similar interventions around the world in recent time.

If the opposition comes to power in Turkey, if they want to prove their goodwill to the parts of the Turkish nation who are skeptical, one measure could be putting the return to the F-35 program with guarantees and return of all manufacturing to our companies as one of the conditions to accepting Sweden's accession to NATO, as the opposition would have a stronger hand compared to the current administration in that the West cannot accuse them of the things they accuse the current government of.

What makes it worse is how the West promoted Haftar as some sort of Secular who is fighting the Islamists.

Not realising most of his militias came from islamist, tribal also mercernaries from Sudan, Chad and Wagner from Russia.

The mass graves were done by the Al Kani militia and Wagner was there when it happened. Now we see Wagner massaciring Ukrainians.

I heard people uncovering the Mass graves in Libya tell how fcked up it is because victims include 5 year old children who were tortured.

Living in England i remember the atmosphere towards Islam pre 9/11. I never saw or heard it being an issue to anyone non-Muslim. No one here really saw it any different then someone being Hindu, Sihk, Catholic, Protestant etc. If you said you were Muslim people didnt really treat it any different then if someone said they were Christian.

However since 9/11 there has been a ratcheting up of the media onslaught against it here. For example we never heard any western leader talk about Islam, then we heard george bush say after 9/11 that the US is not at war with Islam and Islam is a religion of peace. Basically the first statement to open up Islam into the wider conscience of the western world, then we moved down the line to Trump who said "a complete and total shutdown on all Muslims". I suspect 10 years from now we will hear western leaders talk about Islam as if its an ideological threat to the entire western way of life.

Obviously Isis, theocratic Iran and the rise of wahhabism ideology being taught across the western world generally made the perception of Islam within the non-Muslims mind as something quite negative. We all know how the same criminal act by a white guy the media labels it an attack or man with mental illness, when a Muslim does it he's a terrorist, which is a form of mental programming to tie Terrorism and Islam to mean one and the same thing. Very insidious and dark stuff.

Then in england we get the common dawah grifters, this guy for example is maybe the most popular dawah grifter in the UK saying things like this openly, which helps the properganda against Muslims/Islam.

So long story short in order to promote anyone from Muslim majority nations they have to be shown as secular and western, because westerners have been brainwashed to see islamists and islam as bad.

According to a moroccan media outlet le360 ambassador Dogan has been recalled by ankara 20 days ago.

His positive remarks about the territorial integrity of Morocco did not fall in good taste for our eastern neighboors. The decision to recall the ambassador was taken as an appeasement measure by Ankara following an outcry.
