No, be kind with both and try to establish peace between them.

Pakistan is one of the few countries who literally gave their lives for the Turkish Republic. You cant just throw them away.

India, Bangladesh and Pakistan all helped us in our Independance war. I dont think 3 of them should be disrespected.

We tend to leave Bangladesh and India out which is not good to be honest, 3 of them helped us I really thank them from the bottom of my heart.

So did Soviets, Italians and even the French diplomatically. Can’t form an international policy based on the past alone.

Yes I know but we dont have any kind of attachment to them.

India, Pakistan and Bangladesh supported us mainly due to us fighting the colonial powers who occupied them. Then you have religious factors coming into play.

So they felt compelled to help unlike the French, Soviets and the Italians.

Also in the independance war we fought against France.

That wasn’t the same. Subcontinent's Muslim soldiers got shot dead by brits for their refusal to fight against the Turkish army.

But you are right. International policy cannot be formed based on past alone.

Well history has shown this aproach in the end is gonna create more distrust and gonna piss both countries off. Tukriye would be better of maintaining its relations with pakistan than trying to balance it with both of them.

The European Parliament’s leading MEP on relations with Turkey, Nacho Sanchez Amor, said Erdogan’s pro-Hamas stance did not go unnoticed.

“If you depict Hamas as freedom fighters, others will see the PKK as freedom fighters and then there’ll be problem,” he said, alluding to the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party, which is listed as a terror group by Turkey and its Western allies.

EU has already closed the book on TR accession to the EU, relations worsen

Ideally you'd be friends with both and use that friendship to build bridges between both of those nations and mend any enmity between them. Easier said than done but it shouldn't have to be an either/or situation when it comes to foreign policy regarding 2 important nations who share a border.
If India will not fight with us when we go to war with Greece, then there is no need to dream big with India. Interstate relations are, above all, established with sincerity. You cannot walk a long way with a state that is hypocritical towards us. Or, for his sake, you cannot waste a country that you are truly sincere to. This is a strategic politics 101 course beyond political Islam. Some of us dream big. However, when it comes to serious matters, India will not support us at the expense of its relations with the USA. You must understand this.

Lol SETA, I remember one of their analysts spent a year on a report on SNA, published it only for social media to tear it apart for showing high rates of child recruitment. Shortly afterwards the USA put TR on the list for child recruitment. This was the first time a NATO country was on this list.

The analyst Ömer deleted the report and was promoted.

So what if the USA blacklisted us? The USA itself provides open support to YPG, which forcibly recruits children. Nobody says a word to the USA. International relations are shaped around power. If you want to defend your own interests, then you will not accept such fake impositions on you. The genocides committed by the USA in Raqqa in Syria and Mosul in Iraq have clearly revealed how dirty they are. In this case, it is unthinkable that such a country would accuse Turkey with such allegations.

I'm telling the general public
If you turn Turkey's national values into a matter of domestic politics and open them up for discussion, you will become a partner in their plans, even if unknowingly. The essence of foreign policy is pure power politics. The power of discourses or claims is not measured by your legitimacy. It is measured by your national power elements.

They will only listen and take into consideration if you are strong. Then even if you are cruel, you will be declared right. But if you are weak, no one will listen to your righteous cause.
