I bet they will start to decommissioning F16 when KF21 coming.Future HUT TNI and Independence Day celebration will be a sight to behold. Imagine a mix of F-15, KF-21, Rafale, Sukhoi, T-50 and F-16 flying together.
Glorious.

F3R is good enough for me.L'Indonésie souhaite aussi acheter deux sous-marins Scorpène à la France
"Beyond a firm contract for 42 Rafale F3Rs, Indonesia is interested in two Scorpene submarines. The ball is in the court of Naval Group which will have to show its know-how and the performance of the submarine."

Unless there's some major modifications involved, we can always upgrade this variant to F4 standard later if it's really needed and especially if we have the money.F3R is good enough for me.
If everything goes well, we'll have no less than 100 additional jet fighters in or around 2030. While it's unavoidable now that with all the different fighter types that makes TNI-AU to become an "Ace Combat"-like air force somehow, Rafale and KF-21 will be two most numerous fighter types we will be fielding soon.Let's see....

I think retiring some F16 earlier is a good choice.Unless there's some major modifications involved, we can always upgrade this variant to F4 standard later if it's really needed and especially if we have the money.

Things will get a lot busier and livelier for our air force.

I guess with this current tren of Upgrading Stuff's, Falcon will have atleast 5 - 10 years more breaths, while Flanker with no major upgrades will get replaced by F3R/F4, EX, and Boramae soonish,Falcon or Flanker first?
