First claimed successful replication of LK-99 Accomplished by a team at the Huazhong University of Science and Technology (from China)

Scientific Papers of Korean superconductor Discovery

F16VWJFaYAA1owl
Edit: There is another replication again It is from China, Western researcher I follow at least need a day or two.

It looks like Berkley simulation also confirms but it is not succesful replication of LK99 but it is simulation.

Can someone explain how this discovery will help countries like Turkey, India, and China?

I know that it will make things cheaper but can it also make it easier to produce chips by needing less advanced tools and equipment? will it break up the ASML monopoly?

This is not a superconductor in my opinion. Superconductors operating at liquid nitrogen temperature don't seem to react like that in a magnetic field. It is more likely to be a strong dimagnet.

On the other hand, even with a strong dimagnet, I'm sure it will find enough application. So they will get a lot for the money they spend on this research.

Yeah, a diamagnet this strong and this easy to produce is a big discovery.

Here is a video showing flux pinning proprety of LK99. Flux pinning only occurs in Super conductive materials.

The TOGG car according to news broadcasting has sold some 1400 pieces since 3 month and this month 627 pieces.

For TOGG to get to break even point it needs to sell some 50.000 pieces in one month.

I think this is another economical disaster from the stealing islamist government in the making.

I dont know where you got 50k number but that is not expected/projected in this decade. Current factory will have 175k annual capacity. And That number will be reached around 2026. Iirc Original target was 7k car for this year but Goverment pushed it to 20k. And In order to hit break even point, Any automative brand needs to manufacture 4 million car annually. This is a good rule of thumb. Other than Ford, All the automotive brands bankrupted at least once in their existence or They were heavily subsidized. Togg is a long term project, We the Turkish taxpayers need to subsidized for at least decade or even longer. Renault is an example for such brand, They are constantly losing money but French government keeps them a float. Jobs and Investment Automotive companies are huge, That is tax money spent well which created many highly skilled jobs for France. I hope Togg will reach 2-4 million number in the second half of 2030s, Even if We need to push a lot of tax money to this project. Manufacturing 3 million car would turn into Spain or Italian level economy. That would great success story for Turkey.

4 million Togg a year is 200 billion usd in revenue, how can that be break even point?

50k$ is not an average price of car before tax. 50-80b$ is a healty number but 100b+ is much preferable for long term profitably of an Automotive company. As someone who worked for over 5 year, this is Unfortunate reality of Automotive Industry.

In 2021 4,000 electric cars were sold in Turkey. Assuming the same number of cars are sold again then that would mean TOGG has managed to get a 35% share of the marketplace with its 1,400. That is extremely good for a company that has only been selling for 3 months.

For wondering the number of electric and hybrid cars in Turkey is 44,291 which means that TOGG makes up 3.16% of all-electric and hybrid cars, currently less than 1% of all Turkish cars are electric or hybrid cars thus giving TOGG and the electric car market lots of room to grow in the future.

Also, can someone answer my question about whether or not room LK-99 will effect the ASML monopoly on semiconductor technology?

not room

Another American/East ASian promotion to boost the stock...They do these things every year.

It seems that China has now claimed success after scouring the recipe publicly released by Korea for hidden know-how and processes. Chinese media has been praising LK99 daily, with reactions even more enthusiastic than in Korea. Even Chinese state-run media, which previously criticized Korea, is now mentioning Korea-China friendship and camaraderie - sparking interest within Korea in the reasons and context behind this. Previously, LK99 was leaked when a disgruntled employee publicly released a draft paper without permission after leaving the Korean research team. The issue is that the paper contained the recipe. The original plan was to validate it at the Korea University of Energy and Technology before releasing it publicly - at least 6 months later. For now, LK99 has been unintentionally made public. And the departed employee (Kwon Yong-wan) only knew part of the manufacturing process. Professor Kim Hyun-tak, one of the researchers, recently clarified in media interviews that "core know-how has not been exposed." However, an unverified LK99 video was released yesterday in China. There are concerned voices from Korean online communities.

In the long term, ASML will lose importance. Semiconductor CPUs will be replaced by superconductor CPUs. You will see CPUs advertised with hundreds of GHz clock speeds but will have a lot fewer transistors due to the difficulty of miniaturization of new transistors.

The elektrik car is different from traditional car,

4 million is for traditional car, because need to produce lots fof parts

Elektrik car needs far fewer machine parts

Tesla is profitable mostly thanks to carbon tax in the west, and other brands slowly started to sell their EVs so they won't be buying Tesla's carbon service any more. More İmportantly, battery cost is much higher than engine/transmission costs and Battery R&D cost is also much higher, and not to mention cost of self driving. These won't change anytime soon. I am highly skeptical to any change in break even point as a result of Electrification. But all of this is just a guess, If we see a lot of small automative brands survive in the long term (30+ years) then we can say break even point has changed. So we have to wait and see.

Tesla made US$1.5 billion from selling government-mandated carbon tax credits to legacy carmakers, mainly overseas, as well as various smaller subsidies. That's more than a quarter from its US$5.5 billion net income in 2021, forcing the SEC to mandate it report regulatory credits as a separate line item in its annual financial statement.

Y'all also skip on the fact that perfecting automobile assembly lines takes time, sometimes longer than expected.
Elon Musk bickered about how he had to constantly sleep in the Tesla factory to work out the kinks in the Model 3 rollout for like, a solid year.
That was a couple of years ago.

He almost bankrupted the company during the production ramp-up of Model 3(or production hell as he puts it).

The graveyard of car manufacturers are filled with the companies who couldn't figure out mass manufacturing. Musk sends rockets to outer space to colonize Mars but he says car manufacturing is at least an order of magnitude more difficult than building reusable rockets.

We can see the chinese electric car industry.Lots of new companies some success some fail.
